Bandai Hobby HGTB GM Anime Color Gundam Thunderbolt Action Figure

Ordered when out of stock a few weeks ago, this came sooner than I'd expected. Although the packaging (or lack thereof) was terrible. Literally a label stickered onto the packaging of the gundam box and someone had cut open one of the sides. Luckily all runners were present.Anyway, this was my first Thunderbolt build. After watching the anime and seeing how cool this mobile suit is I decided to get the kit.I was actually slightly disappointed when I finished the main mobile suit as it seemed a bit bland and I didn't think the head design was as great as I had seen in pictures and reviews. After I assembled the backpack and weapons though, I completely changed my mind.The full armoured look with shields and both guns gives the mobile suit a bulky look but allows for some dynamic poses. The shield connecter parts at first seem restrictive, but can offer a number of interesting angles. More importantly, they're sturdy, which can also be said for the mobile suit itself. A really solid build.If you're looking for a variation to your standard gunpla build, give this a go, it'll be worth your time!
