I was oversea on a vacation. It rained everyday. My shoes are waterproof. I was on the beach walking and didn't notice the wave hit me. The socks are truly waterproof. It didn't soak through.

Recently wore these over the course of a week long sailing regatta in the Irish Sea. They did a phenomenal job when paired with boots keeping my feet warm and dry. Highly recommend.

Fit nice and snug, a bit thicker than your normal socks, but you can get used to it. They fit in shoes pretty well at least for me. I have to try them in my work boots as I stand and walk all day at my job as a security officer. The true test will be during the season, when baseball starts. I walk on all kinds of surfaces, during my shift and I'm in and around the building at any given time. So we shall see. (update) I did wear these socks in my work boots all day, yesterday to test them out for about a mile and change, and I am pleased with the results. Now, the true test is when it downpours, see how much rain if any gets through the sock. (2nd update) I wore them all day for another shift and the rain was consistent at times and heavy, and after coming back home from my shift, checked out the results of the rain penetrating the sock, and not one drop penetrated to my feet. So these are a great buy.

Although they are a bit warm due to their thickness, they keep my feet dry. There is not a lot of stretch to these socks so I recommend getting the size based off your shoe's European size. I am very happy with how the correct size fits. The socks are comfortable and I find they are as waterproof as they are supposed to be. I will definitely order more.My first order was a failure simply because I was not paying attention to the size I ordered. I opted not to pursue an exchange because I have someone that can use them.

I was skeptical at first, as when I ordered them there was only 1 written review. At the price of $45 for 3 pairs it was too good to pass up. They stood the test of filling a bath tub of water and stepping into them. Not a drop made it to my feet. They have a little different feel than regular socks but I think that's expected. Will need to update the review once a real hike has been done in them.

These work really well. Good value for money. No more swollen, cold, and wet feet.

Purchased these socks for hiking in the snow. May be water resistant but definitely water proof. Uncomfortable in shoe due to bulkiness of sock. Not worth the money.

Bought these for my son who is a transport driver- he tested them in water- and his foot didn't get wet + he says keeps his feet dry & warm.

Bought these to use for work. Gigantic difference! will be buying a few more

These sound and feel like a crinkly plastic bag layered between two socks.The fabric slips and slides against the plastic interior.The Medium was way to big for me (size 8.5-9)So bad I didn't even try wearing them.
