Down in a Blaze Of Glory 5 out of 5 Stars to have the Photo of Billy The KID! Thanks Amazon.
The large size copy from the actual photo of the Regulators and Billy the Kid at their friends wedding "chillin" is an awesome collection piece to have, especially if your into History era from the old west etc. I've seen a National Geographic Documentary about the couple who brought the actual Tin Type photo from a garage sale in Texas for 2.00 dollars and now has 3 million dollars when he authenticated the picture to be the actual gang and the legendary outlaw in the photo. Glad to have this copy large Photo in my home framed on my wall and when I view it from time to time I can picture them talking chillin and the photographer saying "okay please stay still don't move. Yeahhh BILLY THE KIDDD!

Very interesting photo.
This photo is awesome.. I saw the TV special on this and I wanted to get my own copy to examine it myself. While I'm not convinced it's Billy the Kid or Sallie Chisum or Tom O'Folliard, it's still cool to have.It just seems a little suspicious in how they are posing, like the lady standing by the horse holding the hand of the lady on the horse, and how they are all spread out with fairly uniform space in between them. It just doesn't fit how they would have posed back then. I feel like this was taken in the early 1900's and not when Billy was alive, and is perhaps some kind of re-enactment.But still, I think it's very cool.

New Evidence
The story behind this 1878 photo is a wonderful tale of the old West. Recently discovered, the National Geographic documentary, (“Billy the Kid: New evidence”), is a must-watch for Wild West historians. This will be a great Christmas present for a retired brother who now has the time to delve in our American history.

No expert in the field believes this is Billy the Kid
There isn't a recognized expert in Billy the Kid/the Lincoln County War or old west photographs who believes this photo shows Billy the Kid. The alleged location has been thoroughly debunked (see the article "The Croquet Kid" in True west Magazine) and the so-called facial recognition expert who made the identification also identified two Japanese people as Amelia Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan in a photograph, it turned out, was published before they ever met and definitely did not show them.In other words, there is no evidence that this photo shows Billy the Kid or the Regulators.
