Great for quick projects or a starter for more involved projects.
I bought both this kit and the 300 light strip Kit. If you want a very very blue cool light go with the 300 waterproof kit. If you want something that is in between a cool blue light and a warm yellow light, go with the 600 light kit.I bought the one day shipping on this because I was excited to get started and it arrived right on time. I also purchased some other kits not by Ustellar because I wanted the ability to dim the lights but also have just an on off switch. I toyed with a motion sensor also but that did not work out. I let you know this because the connections on this kit are universal so you can customize it with other adapters and kits to "Frankenstein" your own set-up. I like when a product is universal.I installed these under my cabinets in my kitchen. I have an outlet under my sink that I put the AC adapter into, then the dimmer, then a switch. then I rewired the female adapter that is on the light strip itself that it was longer and I fished that up inside my wall and had it pop out of the wall right under my cabinets. I then reconnected the wiring to the light strip with a corner connector. You can get the corner connectors pretty cheap. You will need 8mm size. By the way. other reviewers complain that they couldn't get the light strip to bend around the corners of their cabinets. That is inherent with any LED strip. It is meant to be flat and will not make sharp turns. If you want something that will bend in one continuous line go with a rope light. But for this you will need corner connectors.Getting a good connection with the connectors takes some practice. I attached the corner connections to my cabinet with a 3M clip so they were not weak spots. Then I just ran this tape strip to the next corner and so one. To bridge over my sink and to the cabinets on the other side I used a 12 ft. connector and drilled little holes through and up my cabinets and down to the other side. With dishes and other things you don't even notice the wire. This kit will easily fill your needs for a quick lighting set-up. It is great that it comes with a dimmer because these lights are BRIGHT. However, if you want a more custom set-up without showing where you are plugging this in to, do your homework and buy the right connectors and adapters. Everything can easily be found on amazon for a decent price and it will take this kit to the next level and make it look like a professional electrician did it.To elevate this even more we will be putting this on a timer to run in the morning and evenings so that we do not have to hit the switch all the time.Great product, easy to install, very customizable.

Easy to install
Easy to install. The adhesive worked well on the wood surface it is on, and excellent on the drywall area I installed one set on. These strips can be cut at the specified interval. There is NO need to add an endcap where the cut is made, you simply cut it, nothing else to do. I purchased the bright white lights. My specific use was to add lights above the kitchen cabinets.Prior to purchase I only had regular recessed high hat ceiling lights, which did not provide sufficient light in my kitchen. These LED lights work great, more light than ever, and now I do not have to turn on my recessed lighting. When installed above my cabinets, the light bounces off the top of my cabinets to the ceiling and spread evenly throughout the ceiling, providing light everywhere. I have 2 rows of cabinets, one is 5 foot, and the other is 15 foot.LED lights consume less electricity than regular 120 VAC lights. I am now using 2 LED light sources in my kitchen consuming less electricity, and have way more light than using 8 120 VAC lights at probably 10 times more power consumption. These strips are thin, but definitely not weak or easily tearable. When I installed the 3rd set on a ledge, the lights are not visible if you look at them from the side. This low profile makes them perfect for installing on the back edge of a wall ledge, where the ledge meets the wall. I placed them about 3 inches from the wall. My ledge is next to stairs leading to the 2nd story, and front entrance foyer. When walking up or down the stairs you can see the light on the ledge going upward to the ceiling (15 feet high), but you can't see light emanating from the sides of the strip. This gives the installation a clean appearance. Most people would assume the lights are recessed.I highly recommend this product. I am using these lights indoors. Ustellar is a good brand, not cheap stuff.

Great dimmable light, adhesive needs to be improved
The media could not be loaded. I put this underneath my cabinets and used some connectors to jump over the Microwave and Stove (I routed the wires through the cabinets so that they were hidden, I did NOT route the lights through the cabinet because if I had, they would have shown through the cracks of the doors). The adhesive really isn't that bad, about 60% of it sticks pretty good to the smooth underside of my cabinets. I already knew this would be the case as my sister used the same set of lights before I purchased this. I used some small dabs of super glue where it would not adhere, not a big deal.To route the light around the stove I used some connectors and wires that were recommended by amazon when I purchased these lights. It very easy to do this. Just cut the light strip in between two of the LED lights and add a connector (it clips on and the terminals align with the wires on the LED light strip). You might see in my video that temporarily I attached my dimmer and wires up to the bottom of the cabinet with clear packing tape! Overall i'm happy with these lights, they add a nice touch. Plus, I had a couple feet left over.
