I took this on a hiking trip to Yosemite and found it handy and sturdy - especially when walking up and down steep hills. I am not typically a hiker, so this was so helpful in helping my stability and strong enough to support me.It folds up nicely - though I wish it were even more compact - but it is flat when folded up and easy to pack. It wasn't difficult to unfold/set up or fold up again for packing, but I wouldn't say it's super easy.Sometimes the height adjustment button at the top of the stick was a bit difficult to use when raising and lowering the stick height, and the button would sometimes be difficult to line up with the hole I designated. However, when it's at the adjustment I prefer, it was sturdy and reliable.If you don't want to purchase a pair of expensive hiking sticks, or prefer a cane style, this is a very good option.

Other people said this cane was too tall for them even being taller than me, but I think it comes down to arm length more than height. This cane works great for me as someone who is 5 foot 3 inches. It feels sturdy and safe. The paint scratches but that's the least of my concern

Der Gehstock ist an sich von bester Qualität: Griff bequem, Stock stabil. Allerdings löste sich nach 2 maligem Gebrauch der Verbindungs-Ring zwischen Griff und Stock, so dass nun der Übergangsansatz ungeschützt ist, d.h. damit auch von kürzerer Lebensdauer. Der Verbindungs-Ring ist jetzt lose, rutscht runter, lässt sich nicht festdrehen oder befestigen. Rücksendung oder Preisnachlass? Für diesen Preis längere Haltbarkeit erwartet.

Great walking stick. It doesn’t wobble about or click like a lot of folding sticks. I will order more in the future.
