As I have gotten older I have found that I enjoy using straws more than I ever did as a kid, especially since I've gotten into the habit of drinking my 8 glasses of water per day. What I don't like is leaving my lipstick or lip balm on the edges of whatever glass or mug I'm drinking out of, so I use straws. I normally don't grab fast food when I'm out, but I happened to find myself thirsty while doing errands and didn't have something to drink in my car, so I made a quick stop at Mickey D's for a soda. To my surprise, and I don't know when this happened, the straw in my soda was larger than the straws that I normally use and I LOVED getting more thanks to the larger straw. I loved it so much, in fact, that I got on Amazon to see if I could find some larger straws to use here at home. I found this set, which I absolutely love, because when I have friends over, everyone can pick their own color and know which drink is theirs based on the color of these straws. They are nice and sturdy and they allow me to hydrate and quench my thirst quickly, which I love. I also love that they include a cleaning brush for these straws to make sure that when I wash them that they're getting completely clean and ready to use again. I am genuinely so glad that I found this set, because they're colorful, they're a great value at the price point, especially with the cleaning brush included, and they're really sturdy. I cannot recommend these more, a really easy choice to make. I hope that helps!

These are well-made and nice to drink from. I got them because they would reduce our bill, we could buy less plastic, and produce less waste. +1 for the environment. They wash easily, and a straw brush was included to help clean them. They are wide enough for thicker smoothies. The only thing I don't like, and this is for all straws, is that you can taste/smell a bit of plastic on your first sip. But to be fair, I have metal straws, and they taste like metal to me on first sip. I'm not keen on straws unless I have to, for this reason. I don't think it's anything the manufacturer can do.

A long time ago I wanted to replace all my straws with reusable ones to save the earth and landed on the soft, opaque, silicone type. I thought they’d be better since they’re silicone, no plastic. Bought a bunch of them and used them for years. Every time I’d use them though, I’d get annoyed at how soft they were. Useless for stirring a lot of stuck-together ice in a drink since they were so soft. And since they weren’t see through, also couldn’t tell when there was a lot of build up inside that wasn’t being cleaned when I ran them through the dishwasher. And cleaning them manually was also a headache because they’re all soft and stretchy so the little brushes wouldn’t work well. Fast forward to these and they’re so much better. No problem breaking up ice in my large water cups. See through and hard plastic so I can clean them easily manually when needed. And they come with a perfect size cleaning brush for the insides that I used to clean out my old silicone straws before I retired them. I won’t describe what came out of those when I cleaned them out with the brush to save you all from hurling. I’ll just say it was gross. You’re welcome. These are perfect and I should’ve bought them years ago to save myself all the headaches, and from whatever I’ve been unknowingly drinking along with my water all these years.

I just wish they bent. Have to tip the glass to drink the end of the drink and then what’s in the rim of the glass drips. Other than that it is a good product and the cleaning brush really does the job.

Just what we were looking for. My wife and I do smoothies every morning and these are perfect. The smoothie flows through the straw so much easier than the standard size. It is easy to clean... cleaning brush works wonderfully.

These straws are very thick and durable and wash very well too. They’re perfect for drinking thick liquids or anything else. We even use them for our Ninja Thirsti fizzy drinks. Oh, and they are VERY tall and perfect for large water bottles and cups!

I should have believed the “Extra” in Extra Wide. The straw width is overwhelming but allows an extremely large amount of liquid to be hastily delivered to my mouth with ever suck.
