Q: What is best direction to install airtag? silver showing? or white showing?

I put the silver side showing, but I also attached it to the inside of the collars Because my dogs like to wrestle. Works well.

Q: The item says it’s waterproof??Do not buy not waterproof???

Hello! We're always hoping to give clear explanation of what is and isn't our product. Our product, the silicone airtag holder, is waterproof and is not subject to damage from water. Additionally it should be noted that Apple Airtags (which is not our product) is water resistant. With that said, our airtag holder does admit great but not perfect water protection to an airtag. We hope this helps!

Q: What is the maximum width of collar this will accommodate ? Also it says it is waterproof , but isn’t the back of this is open & exposed?

The back is open, you are correct. I used this for a collar that was 1 1/4" wide with two strands going through it. This case is tough! I had to really pull on it to get it to fit over the collar and it held up with no problem. I think it can tolerate a slightly wider collar, but how much more? This is a very good quality holder but not waterproof on the back.

Q: Is it 100% waterproof?

The back is open, exposing the silver back of the air tag. So NO it isn’t water proof. ☹️
