Beautiful 18/20 rust protection and high mirror shine. Each piece is smooth without rough edges and has a nice balanced weight without being heavy. This set has a nice curve to its design which makes it very comfortable while holding in your hand. Heirloom quality and worth the money not flimsy or cheap.

I was looking for something g with some weight to it. I do t care for the lightweight stuff. This fits the bill. Not too heavy to handle but good enough. I gave it 4 stars because there are time that it comes out of the dishwasher with a little discoloration. I just have to wipe it with a towel and it’s all good.

I really like the Oneida brand for quality, and this does not disappoint! This is some of the highest quality flatware I have ever used to eat.As far as hand feel goes, all edges, including the fork tong edges, are rounded and completely smooth. There is not a rough or harsh edge, other than on the knife tip of course. The weight is substantial, you definitely know you are not holding a cheap or plastic utensil! The polished finish is gleaming. I have run them through the dishwasher several times now and still no marks. I have no worries running them in the dishwasher either as the stainless they are made out of will never rust, tarnish, etc.All in all I do like the set, and should for years to come. The only downside, for me, is that these will not fit in the individual flatware slots in my dishwasher basket. They are much too thick and wide for that. You can see a size by side comparison to my 24 year old pfaltzgraff set, which is a bit smaller and thinner.

The look and sturdy, heavy feel are very nice. However, the size of forks and spoons is simply too big. The tea spoon is more like table spoon size. The forks are wide and too long to fit in average mouth.

Oneida is located in upstate New York and has been around for over 170 years. Their credo is to deliver high end quality at affordable prices. Have they? With this Stafford Mirror 65 set, absolutely yes.Quality is top notch and the design of the flatware is exceptional. Feels great in the hand and functions wonderfully. I’ve had the chance to review all sorts of inexpensive flatware sets over the years made by no name companies, and make no mistake, there is a clear difference between that and what you’re getting with Oneida. Even though the price of this set is not cheap, once you take into account the quality and design, it’s actually quite a bargain. You could pay double or triple the price and still feel it was a fair deal.The mirror finish can be prone to smudging, but that’s easily rubbed off with a dishtowel.Without a doubt, my favorite set of flatware. I have been using Oneida silverware for a very long time. It is by far one of the best silverware makers out there. When I saw this set I knew that I had to have it. However, I did underestimate just how large 65 pieces is. I do have to say that we do not run out of silverware during the day anymore though! It is stainless steel with a beautiful mirror finish. It is also dishwasher safe, which is a must for me. My family doesn’t use any paper or plastics, so I end up with a lot of dishes each day. This set ensures that we have enough silverware and that we are always eating in style.

Got this because it looks nice and we somehow lost a bunch of small spoons from our old set. This set is very nice and feels like our old more expensive flatware. We like the way all of the pieces look and how they feel in our hand. We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, casual but upscale flatware set.

I love this Oneida flatware so much! The mirror polish is beautiful, and I love how the curves make it simpler to handle them! They stack well in the drawer and I guess the only complaint would be the knives don’t have much of an edge for cutting, but not a big deal! It’s a large set, so you have enough for the family all day and guests too!
