I had to throw half of these out because they're not sharp.
How do you ruin a straight pin? I didn't think you could. Apparently I was wrong. Half of these are just to blunt to work with fabric. Pinning a single layer of denim to a single layer of cotton fabric and the pin would get "stuck" and not go through the fabric. If I forced it through it would catch on individual woven threads and pull causing the thread to pull out of the weave and the fabric around it to "pucker". I order a ton of stuff from Amazon and I don't generally have time to leave reviews, but I've gotten burned twice in the past month from reading positive reviews prior to ordering and then receiving REALLY inferior product.

Disappointed
These aren't well made. The glass balls are not round, some were not colored and others had "tails" on them. I know they are just straight pins and don't need to be cute or pretty but that's what I had wanted. A few of them were bent. So while serviceable, they aren't very pretty.Update they aren't sharp!! I now consider this a one star item. If there was a way to give it negative stars I would. Do NOT waste your money buying this product.

Don't waste your money!
These are pretty, but the quality of the pins is terrible. I wish I had read more reviews before buying them. The points are jagged and the metal does not push smoothly through fabric. Each layer is a separate piece of paper. As soon as I released the plastic around them, the layers fell apart and several pins fell out of the paper. Since I had to destroy the plastic wrapper, I don't think I could return them, and it isn't worth the hassle, so these are going in the trash. Save yourself the headache and avoid this brand.

Ehhhh..... Quality control needs to do better
These are ok... Let me first start off with this. When it comes to needing an abundance of pins for a large project they are still somewhat worth it. Keep reading and you decide. Here's the imperfections I found:-Many of the pins are blunt-Others are bent-A lot of them also have the paint peeling on the tips (but thats not a huge deal to me, I'm not using these in a craft just holding together fabrics for sewing)Quality control really needs to up their game. The least amount of pins I trashed from one round set was 5, the most was 20!! Out of a 40 pin round thats a lot of pins!! I did get 480 pins so 12 rounds, but when I have to trash more than 100 of them..?? Well now I'm questioning if the purchase was worth the buy...There are larger sets on Amazon for around the same price I paid.. The majority of them are sharp and work well and I'm still able to use them for the purpose I need them for. But the others being blunt, I can't use them at all unless I want to ruin my fabrics by forcing them through it.They are also the size mentioned and the good ones are pretty sturdy. I am using these for heavy-duty fabrics and canvas as well as multilayers and quilting. So if quality control can do better at weeding out the bad then you'd get a pretty good product. For now they only get 3 stars. I don't expect perfection but I'm a bit upset about tossing 25% of what I paid for.October 24, 2021 (little over a year later) Update:Pins that I kept are still going strong. Haven't had any issues with them bending on me or going dull. I'm still using them on most of my projects. So I'd buy them again. For that I'm adding a star and giving 4*.

Sad excuse for a pin!!!
Over half of these pins did not have a point on the end, just a flat blunt end like they forgot to sharpen them. And the rest of them with the so called “point” left a lot to be desired. Could not use the majority of them for various reasons like no point, dull point or fabric damage when we were able to use them. The shaft of the pin is not smooth either. Will not buy again, sorry I bought this time and do not recommend this product to anyone who sews!

Dull Pins, but they are Pretty!
These pretty pins are conveniently packaged on several round disks that come apart, so you only need to empty some at a time. However, the pins themselves are not very sharp and don't go through fabric well. Occasionally, you come across one that is sharp enough to poke through fabric. Luckily, we purchased them for display purposes, mostly, so the fact that they aren't too usable is not too big of an issue, as long as I don't get them accidentally mixed in with my sharper pins.

Lots of pins, doesn’t tear fabric
Bought these as hijab pins and gave a ton away. I’ve still got plenty. I usually buy these pins abroad in Egypt where they’re very cheap, but this was a great price for the value. They don’t tear or make permanent holes in my scarves and they are VERY sturdy. I’ve even hung (very light) things on walls with them like a calendar or to secure holiday lights over a doorway while using nails at the heavier corners.

Break and bend easy
Some "pins" had no point, wouldn't go thru fabric. Others bent when trying to pin fabric. Enough worked for what I wanted but overall I wouldn't buy again.
