The Bath Sponge & Brush... can soap up one well, don't expect exfoliation
This long handled bath sponge seems adequately manufactured. Elastic bands that look like hair ties hold the sponge to the plastic handle. We shall see how long they last under the rigors of hard water and soap. The rigidity and length are just enough to soap up one's back and posterior shoulders. It is not good for scrubbing, but compared to the long handled brushes I've tried recently, at least it isn't scrubbing off my skin. I had gotten this long handled bath sponge after trying from Amazon, the Wooden Shower Body Brush with Boar Bristle. That one actually scraped off skin and left scratches. I had also tried a long handled wooden brush from Bed Bath and Beyond. That too was far too rough.I can live with being able to soap up my back and live with whatever exfoliation happens from gentle movement of the bath sponge.

works as expected
I'm not sure why some people complained about this loofah only being on one side. You only need it on one side. This is basically a loofah tied to a curved plastic handle. I like that the handle is curved because it makes reaching your back more comfortable. The loofah is soft. It holds the body wash well and makes a lot of suds. The strings that hold it on are thin and don't look exceptionally secure, but so far they have held and not been an issue. The handle is very lightweight and not the best grip, but still good. Overall, it's a good product and just what I was looking for.

Poorly built
Brush is only loosely tied together. It's already loosening after 2 weeks' use, it'll fall apart completely in another week's time. The handle's flimsy at best, and uncomfortable to hold on top.

You can do better.
Do not buy it. There is a reason it is priced inexpensively. You get what you pay for. Mesh is only on one side, which isn't a huge problem, but different from most scrubbers of this type. Mesh is very thin and tore a bit when I caught it on my thumb while removing it from the packaging. Mesh is held on with a thin thread that looks like dental floss. Handle is somewhat flexible so when you apply pressure to scrub, the handle bends. Do yourself a favor, spend a few dollars more for a higher quality product.

Difficult to use.
I'm a disabled US Army veteran and bought this because I thought it would be good to scrub my back. No such luck. The handle is straight but needs to be bent a few degrees at the end. It would be much more ergonomically friendly. As it stands, it's really not useful. I'd rather have my money back. But for the small cost...it's not worth the trouble

Overpriced backbrush
I used to be able to find loofah backbrushes in the grocery store, but not anymore. This one looked similar to my old one that needed to be replaced, but it isn't. The loofah being on only one side made it feel less practical and, overall, it felt flimsier. This was more than twice the cost of my old one and if it had worked, I would have been satisfied. I would not buy it again, especially not for the price I paid.

DONT GIVE TO CHILDREN!,
You know, I figured âHow bad can it be? Itâs a bath scrubber...â. Well, now I know how bad it can be. Donât waste your money. The fact that the scrubber part is only TIED on & starts pulling out the first time you use it is ridiculous, but what really ticked me off is they donât even trim the plastic edge of the handle after itâs molded & it leaves jagged, sharp edges that actually cut into the palm of my hand. THESE ARE ACTUALLY HAZARDOUS...DONâT BUY!!

Hard to Hold and Control
The way the handle is halfway hollowed out makes it too difficult to hold and control the direction and pressure of where you're scrubbing. That the scrubby is only one one side makes this lack of control and pressure doubly difficult.
