My pinguiculas like it
I have two pinguiculas which I finally repotted from their original nursery pots into this stuff. They are doing great! One had been thriving, and continues to. The other was flailing, but now making a comeback and I think the soil has been instrumental. I'm inexperienced with carnivores, but experienced with some other plants. The soil feels and behaves like quality in my estimation. Note: its extremely dense and packed with coco coir which takes a while to really saturate with water, but once it does saturate can stay wet a very long time. When potting it's best to leave some room on top for the water to sit while it slowly absorbs down, otherwise it can get pretty messy.

Good quality products
I live in Maine, so my dirt/climate is awful for none native plants of any kind. I’m doing this review after a couple months of seeing how this soil mix was, so far so good. The blend seems to be on point, no issues with my plants at all. I never imagined that I’d be buying bags of dirt on amazon! This company is awesome and has great products.

It's labeled as carnivorous plant soil
I haven't used it yet- waiting for the plants to become available in my area which are extremely seasonal. I'm confused by some of these reviews. It's labeled as carnivorous plant soil, which is EXTREMELY specific. I have always a carnivorous garden, and have done research before starting to put one together. All my research showed that this soil contains what you need for a basic carnivorous garden. I don't understand why people who bought it for succulents are leaving reviews.

My carnivorous plants (butterworts & sundew) love it!
My butterworts and and sundew LOVE this soil. I had my doubts given some of the reviews (I really do think they got the succulent soil by mistake) but holy moly butterwort! Boy did they grow! The soil is a completely different texture compared to the sandy pearlite material they lived their whole life in but...They've grown in size in a few weeks what they normally would in a few months and they look so plump and happy! I couldn't be more pleased, and will surely be getting more when I propogate a few more babies.

Great for my Pitcher Plants!
Needed to replant my pitcher plants as they were out growing original pot. This soil did the trick. They are thriving. The bag looks about the size of a large bag of potato chips...if you're wondering just how much soil you get.

Survive, not thrive
Used this soil to repot a thriving nepenthes that had outgrown its pot. It has been a year since repotting and the plant has never fully recovered from the shock of transplant with the same care and conditions. While the plant survives in this soil, it does not produces pitchers and it’s leaves are no longer a rich green. Soil may be lacking in nutrients or not ideal for this kind of carnivorous plant.

Just right for happy little plants
I was having trouble finding something acceptable at Lowe's or Walmart to make my own mix. As a carnivorous plant amateur I was happy to find everything I wanted put together in a bag. I find the Venus Flytraps to be sensitive little plants and wanted to know I was getting the right product for them. They are doing very well after being transplanted.
