JILLMO Bacon Cooker for Microwave Oven, Large Silicone Microwave Bacon Tray, Grey

I never even knew you could cook bacon in a microwave until I was told not only can you but it comes out perfect if you do it right. I tried a few times wrapping bacon in paper towels and it did come out okay but far from ideal. Wanting to get it right I figured I'd give this a try and not only does the bacon cook to nice crisp perfection it does so without greasing up plates or paper towels, the grease runs right into the channels and settles into the bottom. The product cleans easily so it's a quick deal when all is said and done, 4 minutes to cook 3 slices of bacon and two minutes to clean and store the cooker. Perfect bacon done quickly, no fuss no muss. Very satisfied, now that cooking bacon is so easy I'll have to reestrain myself so I don't pork out!

I have microwaved bacon for years. For me, cooking bacon in the microwave offers a better taste, removes excess oils and fat, and provides a great crispy taste. My last bacon cooker for microwave was made of something like bakelite but started to crack after about 30 years of use (can't complain about that). I also switched to "turkey bacon" to better keep my cholesterol down. With the new silicone tray I cook 5 pieces of bacon in 4 minutes. Its super easy to clean and appears very durable. Hopefully I'll get another 30 years out of this one. It's a great product, but if you're not familiar with cooking bacon in the microwave it may take a couple of trys to get the cooking time right the first time you use it. Its better to be short on the cooking time rather than overcook,. This way you can just pop it back in if it is undercooked. To give you an idea, start with 1 min. per piece -1. for example cook 5 pieces for 4 minutes. If it's undercooked reheat for 30 sec and check again. If it's still undercooked do another 30 seconds and keep track of the total cooking time. The number of pieces, thickness, and type of bacon will vary your cooking times. Over time you will learn how long to cook just about any type of bacon on the first try.

Easy to keep clean. Good product for microwave oven. A drain spout on one corner will make it easier to the drain the fat into a jar.

We are big users of microwave bacon racks. We have always bought ones that are made out of a material that is hard. This one is rubbery…I have to be careful when taking out of microwave that it doesn’t spill grease it is so wobbly. Could burn yourself with hot grease. Definitely not a fan.

Love this little microwave pan. It makes the best bacon and cleans up in a jiffy. I just run hot water over the pan and it's cleans up in seconds.

I have ordered other brands and they end up splitting or breaking. This is a silicon that can handle the bacon cooking. I have had it for a while now and glad I found this one.
