I have a Chitu 405 nm UV meter, made specifically for testing MSLA printers' UV output, most printers deliver UV radiation at an intensity of 3.5 to 5 mW/cm² at the top face of their LCD screen to initialize the resin curing process.With fresh power (2 AAA cells) this little penlight delivers 50-60 mW/cm² 3" from the meter sensor--I.e. more than enough to start the resin curing making it perfect for using resin to "glue" model pieces for assembly or repair. or to initiate curing inside hollowed models (where it fits of course).I measure the "business end" of the light at 15.15 mm so it will fit through some pretty small openings, it's also powerful enough that shining it through smaller openings will trigger curing.I like it! I bought this to check the amount of remaining shellac finish on a vintage sewing machine and it worked well for that purpose and caused the shellac to fluoresce as expected.

Needed this for someone’s medical issues and it shows what area needs to be treated. Great price for 2. The battwy life is excellent, light weight and small enough to take with you. If you need a black light for a medical condition this is the one. No reservation on my purpose

Great works perfect in low light environment like it should. As a Pit Boss I have to verify all large bills. No need to look for a machine that can be down or carry the ink pen. Great value for the money.

This light is so amazing and so small very easy to put in purse and carry with you.

I bought this to use with UV resin. I was hoping it would penetrate the layers I was working with. Unfortunately it didn’t do that very well. It’s nice to look at, the battery holds for a long time, seems durable but the value for the money wasn’t there as it didn’t work for the project I bought it for

Leider ist die Lampe bereits defekt angekommen. Nachdem die Lampe selbst mit neuen Batterien nicht an ging, habe ich sie vorne geöffnet. Wie man sieht hat sich das rote Kabel gelöst.

I receive normal light, not UV light.
