Someone in marketing did a darn fine job with the title -- it piqued my interest as a student of Depth Psychology and this little book delivered. Chock full of a wide variety of symbols and a smattering of meanings, it is really well laid out, visually appealing, colorful, and just plain fun to read. A few others to consider for the more serious collector include The Book of Symbols (an incredible FEAST for the $ but big and bulky) and Animal Speak or The Archetypal Symbolism of Animals (for animal lovers).

Very interesting book, the meaning about the dream is amazing. I just loved it, I really recommend this book, including children.

This book was replacing one that I had. This is an all inclusive book that explains the original meaning of many, many things Although this book is out of print, I was very satisfied with the seller, the book I got, and all concerned with this item!.

I bought this second hand for £3:60 stating it was in good condition. The cover (which can be removed) was ripped in two places quite badly. However the book itself is in good condition. Some slight warping but nothing too dramatic.The contents of the book is interesting but doesn't go into much depth at all. You have for example; one tiny, three sentence paragraph that explains what a Pentagram is and thats it. A little paragraph situated under an illustration. No history of the Pentagram, or how its evolved over the millennia to be incorporated into modern day wiccan practice. Disappointing really.Its nothing more than a flick through book, for your coffee table when you're feeling a bit bored and want something to skim.Should of known for the price. You certainly get what you pay for.
