Allegra KWomen's Puffer Vest Stand Collar Lightweight Gilet Quilted Zip Vest

My husband bought this vest for me and originally purchased a Medium, which was too big. I ended up exchanging for a Small, because my bust measurement corresponds to the manufacturer's size Small (in the product description).My stats: Age: 30s | Height: 5’ 3” | Weight: 140lbs | Bra size: 34DD (bust measures 38" around) | Waist: 29” | Hips: 39” | Shape: pearAfter receiving the Small, there was still a little room all over, but I liked the length, as well as the option to wear a thicker layer underneath it. I usually prefer my vests to be fitted, so I also could've pulled off an XSmall, but decided not to because I suspected that the length would've then been too short on me. The cut of the vest has a nice shape that contours curves, so even though the vest isn't as fitted as I prefer, I think it still looks great on me. Also, it's lightweight, so it doesn't add any bulk to my frame. That said, it's not designed to keep me warm all by itself on a cold day. There is no hood on the style I got, so be mindful of the different options before you order. This vest would work well for fall, milder winter days, and early spring. The main zipper and two side pocket zippers work well, and don't catch. The construction is sturdy. I've worn this vest about 6 times in the last 2 months. The pockets are deep enough for my phone or keys.Hope my review helps you!

For the price, you get much much more value with this nifty vest. The color is absolutely amazing. The fit, quite form fitting and enhances your feminine body. It is not a puffy jacket or baggy and is meant to be worn not in very cold weather. It is more quilt thickness than jacket thickness, if that makes sense. The length is nice and long (which gives it a more feminine feel), in addition the torso area fitting snug around the waist and then letting a little bit out at the bottom. It is not baggy, if that is what you're afraid of. There is not a cinch that you can tie at the waist, but the vest does cinch, as it is shaped in a V shape... it is NOT boxy at all. I love it.I am a medium and I ordered the medium. I would say it is true to size, IF you are XS or S built. This vest fits VERY well on small framed bodies (think asian bodies), OR if you want a very fitted vest. If you prefer that your vest have room for a thick shirt or sweater, then definitely go up a size. It can still look good on average to medium frame bodies, but I would size up. This is important to note!The material is soft and is not scratchy. I buy a lot of asian clothing on Amazon (sometimes it turns out good and sometimes not so good), and usually the zippers on asian garments are not very high quality. The three zippers (one on each side pocket and one in the center) on this vest is nice and "beafier" than other zippers I've come across. The color of the zippers are not distracting, since it is a charcoal color. And a bonus, these zippers are not rough when you rub your hand across it when zipped. A pet peeve of mine with bad zipper jackets, is when the jacket it zipped up, the zipper line does not line up straight. This just makes the clothing article look cheap. Well, fortunately the middle zipper on this vest does line up straight.It's the little important details that make this vest a nice vest.There are also two little gold button/emblems, one on each side pocket. They do not look cheap. The gold goes really well with the color of the vest.A lot of vests out there have a really high collar... almost to the point of choking you when zipped all the way up. This vest stands out because of the low cut collar. You can zip it all the way up and not feel like you can't look down or sideways. (If you don't get what I'm saying, just try zipping up another vest of yours all the way up.). Now tell me that does not feel comfortable. The Allegra K vest has a lower cut collar that so many vest do not offer. It protects you from the cold when you need it most but is also comfortable at the same time.You know how sometimes, you can order something online and think it looks great, but when you finally receive it in the mail, the shape and cut of the garment fits and looks totally wrong? Well, you don't have to worry much about this vest. Everything about it looks exactly like what is advertised.I usually only buy Amazon Prime products, for their return policy (especially with overseas products)... but I went ahead and took a chance with this vest. Yes, it did take a week or two longer... but honestly, it was worth it since it is such a great quilted vest.The only negative would be that the side pockets are very very small and not practical to use. (Notice how the model fits only one finger inside her pocket... well... there you go.) But then, how often do you put your hands in your vest pockets? (Again, this quilted vest is meant to be worn not as a warm jacket, but a nice thin quilted vest) There is also no pocket inside the vest (chest area). But I guess for a vest this slim, it would defeat the purpose of a pocket that would add bulkiness... so I'm okay with it.Overall, if you are on the fence from buying this vest because it is not Amazon Prime, I would say go ahead and make the purchase. Love it love it love it! It's not bulky and yet keeps me warm. Arrived in one day. Fits great. I'm 5 foot four, 110 pounds. I ordered the small because I thought I might want to wear some layers underneath. TIP: Most important measurement to consider is bust size. If you have a muffin top, you can get away with it because it flares out towards the bottom. But the top is true to bust size so keep that in mind.Pockets are roomy enough! Pockets comfortably hold my iPhone 6s and keys in one pocket.See pics: heads up, I folded down the collar in the front shot earlier and forgot to unfold it so you could see it

I am enjoying this vest! It's warmer than expected. Only issue is that the zipper isn't super smooth. I imagine it won't zip at some point, but it's cheap enough I'll just buy another. Love the color - is as described.I have an athletic frame and wear a DDD. Was worried that it would not zip over my breasts, but that's not an issue. Im 5'10" and have a long torso. This vest is GREAT for tall people.Please note I tossed this on with a t shirt and would not necessarily wear this outfit. Haha!

First of all, this vest arrived in about a week--much faster than the estimated arrival date. I am pleasantly surprised about that. Secondly, I am very pleased with how it fits me. I am 5' 8" and weigh about 138 pounds. I wear a 32B size bra, so I'm what you might call "sporty." I ordered a size small, and it fits me great. It isn't too tight at all, but it hugs my body shape. I like the look of the design details, like the fake snap and things like that. I ordered olive green, and it is a nice color. I agree with others that this is a fairly thin vest. It definitely isn't a cold-weather vest. I would probably wear it in weather ranging from the 50 degree range and on up. I wore it to a party and just kept it on the whole time because I'm always cold inside and out.

This vest is everything. Warm. Cute. And inexpensive. Perfect combo! Lightweight and warm, I initially bought this to go under a few coats I own that are roomy enough. The vest adds extra warmth for the cold New York winter weather. The material is nice enough to wear with dressy casual attire yet simple enough for jeans. And I love the length! Sits right on my hips (I'm 5'1- got the extra small). I ordered the black one first and loved it so much that I ordered the green one too. This will also look nice over a jean jacket or a sweater for the spring. Highly recommended.

The size stated on the description is far small than UK sizes. Difficulties in returning the product due to it being from China. Will not buy again, think before you purchase

Well made gilet and a good colour. Prompt delivery. My one criticism would be if I ordered another, I would choose the next size, large, rather than medium, and I am normally a UK size 12-14.

Ordered the Large size but the item certainly wasn't large. I am a standard size 16 for coats tops etc, this was more like a 12/14, other than that the item was well made.

I ordered a Medium so it would have more room for items underneath but it fits like a 10! Still love it & won’t change the size, it’s lovely & warm & you just don’t need the extra layer!Well made & nice quality & fit!

I am really pleased with this gilet. It is as described, nicely made, lined and fits me true to size. I would say go with your usual size for this garment. It is just like the picture and looks good quality. Just what I was wanting and I would recommend.
