This clock wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but apparently I have picky tastes and no one but Ollie's sells exactly what I was looking for, but I had to return that clock due to the hands getting caught on each other. But I digress.This clock takes 1 AA for the clock and 4 C batteries for the light. It needs to be in a room that gets a fair amount of natural light for the sensor to work, otherwise you'll be replacing a lot of C batteries. It is quiet due to (what I think) is no second hand ticking. It runs so smooth, I had to stare at it for awhile to make sure it was actually working.It looks beautiful at night and the light is just enough to be able to see your surroundings for that middle of the night bathroom break. It's a bit much for say, a bedroom though, as it may keep you awake due to the decent amount of light it does put out.

My family loves this clock! The kids love to see the night light of the clock turn on. It is bright enough to serve as a night light. It’s very easy to tell the time whether it’s daytime or nighttime. I would buy this again.

I have only had this for like a month or so and I love it! Super cute, lights up when it is supposed to, numbers are large enough for my blind self to see from anywhere in the room it is in. Not sure what ppl were complaining about. Let's see of it holds up to time itself

Clock looks great on living room wall and the added bonus is that it has the sensors to light up when it gets dark. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice wall clock with the ability to see the time in a dark room.

Accurate, easy to read in it's night glow mode, nice clock for the kitchen where we use it. Stylish...

I actually bought this clock for my bedroom, but that didn't work out for me. It has a very nice glow at night and the light automatically shuts off when it is light. It was too bright for my room and did not have a way to dim it. So, I moved it to my familyroom. I love it there. It provides a nice effect at night for watching TV in the semi-dark. It is easy to see. A nice size, 12 to 12-1/2" I measured it but forgot which it was. It is a little heavy because it takes 2 C batteries for the night light. And if you ever want to turn it off there is a switch on the back. You have to remove it from the wall to do that.

This is, without a doubt, the poorest designed clock I've ever encountered. The images have been photoshopped. Only slightly lit up at night and four corners, with black clock dials that can't be seen at night. The battery situation is also quite bad. Missing the simple screws needed to hold it together.Unfortunately, I had a broken leg and couldn't return this in time.Just bad.

The media could not be loaded.  The clock looks great on the kitchen wall. I wanted something practical, yet, stylish and blending in with my style of home decor. The greenish grey border is very much on trend similar to teal and duck, egg, etc. But the wow factor and a definite party trick to make the neighbours jealous is the transition it makes when the room becomes dark to a luxury, soft backlit pallet…. very classy and feels way more expensive than it is. Oh and of course timekeeping is accurate :)

Clock performs as advertised, but it looks a bit plasticky and clunky. I expected it to be more refined for the price.

Stopped working in 1 year. Have changed all batteries and it just won’t work.
