Teach Your Baby to Sign: An Illustrated Guide to Simple Sign Language for Babies

Like the book, but the illustrations for the signs and the descriptions aren’t the greatest. I found the website that corresponds with the book was more helpful because you can actually see a video of the person signing (which was different than the book illustrated and described).

This is such an amazing book!! I researched multiple different books - I was looking for something that had good descriptions as well as good pictures so we could all understand how to do the sign correctly. I was very pleased to find it has the perfect amount of pictures and descriptions. I also found the tips to to teach signs to be very helpful and I didn't even think of them! Overall, great book!

Great book for learning basic signs with your baby. Came in very handy with my late speaker.

Bought as a gift but I kept it for the grands! I know sign language and my grands are always wanting to learn. Now it is in a safe place so they can look up words and show me anytime they want to!

Love this book. Taught all my kids a few signs beginning at 3 months old. Really does help to bridge the communication gap!

Very cool, TONS of signs in here, a little overwhelming for beginning, but will be cool to look up words and learn along with our daughter as she gets older.

This book is amazing! I am Japanese and my husband is American, our daughter will be a bilingual. I don't speak English well but this book seems easy and I understand well. Cant wait to learn signs and communicate with my daughter

I haven't spent much time reading this book but got a copy for myself first, and was impressed so got a copy for my daughter as well. She has a one-year-old and has been wanting to teach/learn sign language.(I got used books). I would definitely recommend this book. It not only shows the signs but also give suggestions about how to teach baby.

i bought this book to use with my 6 month old, i've already learned quite a few signs and he's starting to pick up a few aswell. great book.

Really good easy to follow sign book

I liked the photographs .Its easy to follow and has some great memory aids.It uses the american sign language so it might not match Mr.Tumble's signs

Very informative, but they show some signs and say it is like another, but does not show the other, like "Again, Again and More". I have started using the signs with our little ones and find one of the girls is starting to copy my movements for milk. As they get older I hope to see more interaction with different signs. Great book to get started with.

I bought this book, along with "Baby Talk", to teach sign language to my infant. This book is great! The inclusion of pictures of actual children doing the signs was an excellent idea, and helped me figure out what the sign was supposed to look like. The descriptions of each sign, as well as a useful guide for when to introduce each sign, was also very helpful. I found the book to be very easy to read, and flowed logically through the signs that are commonly used and appropriate to teach to young ones.I would absolutely recommend this book!
