Having bought an Air fryer recently, I decided to purchase this as I thought it would help to circulate the air around anything being cooked, whilst it rotated. It works really well and crisps up items like chips, onion rings etc. Very impressed so far. A bit fiddly to locate into the brackets and you definitely need an oven glove to remove it from the fryer!! I would recommend getting this.

Cooks chips evenly but a pig to clean.
Great for frozen chips, even cooking, set timer and go. Cleaning is a problem, hot water and washing up liquid, but still can’t get fully degreased. But I would still recommend it.

Great chips
When I bought my Tower airfryer I wanted one of these to use with the rotisserie function. Perfect chips every time.Update: 4 months later. This works perfectly but the space it uses limits what you can cook at the same time. No denying it makes great chips but if you airfry them on a shelf instead you've got plenty of room to cook other things at the same time. Not knocking it at all, its good and it works - but it rarely gets used now and is just another 'must have' at the time item thats now taking up space in my cupboard.

Not sure if it's worth the money
So far I have been lucky with the cage clip as it hasn't broken off......yet. But it is tricky to open wearing heat resistant gloves to hold the cage and open the door at the same time.I've not had great success with this item as the chips seem to take for ever to get anywhere near crispy. I'm up to 30 minutes on 200°c and they are still soft. It's looking more like 40 minutes to get closer to a crispy chip. (same result in deep fryer in less than 10 minutes)They do cook quicker on the rack but they don't cook evenly and you are constantly switching racks but you do have the space to cook other things at the same time. The downside is the lack of space left in the oven with the chip basket installed. You have just over a 1 inch clearance at the bottom when the tray is in. Which rules out cooking pies, pasties and sausage rolls. But you can squeeze in some fat free foods like chicken fillets, goujons and Dippers in the tray. No room for grilling anything like a steak on a rack. So by the time you have cooked that separately your chips are stone cold. I would be very interested to hear if someone has found a way to get around this problem other than using the deep fat fryer.

Airfyer basket
Recently purchased an airfryer like a small oven but wanted a rotisserie basket. Wasn't sure which to purchase contacted seller who replied quickly and was most helpful. Basket is quite sturdy reasonable price and works well in the air fryer as it turns food just like the spit would so everything gets evenly cooked
