Why are my speeds lower than the specified rating?

Please ensure you are using a UHS-II card and are connected to the host system via a USB 5Gbps or faster port.

Why are my read speeds fast, but my write speeds slow?

You may be using a slower V6, V10, V30, or V60 class SD card.

Why does my card refuse to write or retain new data in this adapter?

Check to make sure the card does not have its write-protect mode engaged/enabled.
