A GREAT Light!!
I purchased two ST433Q lights to replace 50 year-old lights. The original lights, mounted on brick columns, failed due to the aging wires ran through the columns (no conduit). Rather than trying to replace the wiring, I decided to try installing solar powered lights. My impresions of solar lights are that they lack the brightness of AC lights. I was hopefull these would be bright enough to illuminate the front entryway. The plan was to reuse the 3" pipe from the original lights. 50+ years of weather on the pipes had corroded them so I was glad the lights came with a base that could be installed using screws and anchors. The assembly and installation of the lights went very easy. The hardest part was drilling into the bricks on the column. If you do try and install on bricks, get some good masonry/brick drill bits and a hammer drill!Once installed and charged, the lights worked GREAT! Below are some observations about these lights.1. Very well constructed. They look like they will hold up to the elements.2. The bulb and batteries are all user-replaceable. The only non-replaceable part is the solar cells.3. I would suggest cleaning the inside and outside glass before you install them. Mine had a slight film that I didnt notice until they came on the first night.4. All of the parts came in the packaging. As a bonus, they included several packs of spare screws. The directions are well written and easy to follow.5. For low voltage solar lights, these are very bright! After about 8 hours of good sunlight, they work all night! After about 6 hours on, the brightness drops but they never completely go out.Pictures show the installed lights in daylight and illuminated at night. If you are looking for a light that you can install on an existing 3" pole or mount horizontal on a column or shelf, these will work perfectly!UPDATE: I have had both of these lights installed for a few months and one has started to fail to come on at dusk. In some cases, it turns on a few hours after the other light. I am troubleshooting but, so far, no solution.UPDATE2: I took the non-functioning light off the mount and found the plastic nut holding the light socket was loose. Once I tightened this and reseated the light, this resolved the issue. These are great lights. If I had one gripe, it was difficult to find online info for the light or a way to contact the seller.

Decent Light, LOUSY Embedded Batteries
I noticed that the solar lamp I installed ago wasn't all that bright after a while, even after a full day of sun. It uses solar panels to charge 3 AA NiMH batteries, each with a claimed 2400 mAh capacity.I pulled the batteries out & checked their capacity with my Zanflare C4 charger/tester (a wondrous device....I've got 1 in the house & 1 in the tornado shelter just for in case). The three batteries tested out as 1903, 2824, and 1147 mAh (while labeled as 2400 mAh capacity). EXCELLENT Chinese consistency! In the past, I'd bought & tested Amazon's Amazon Basics AA NiMH batteries. They tested as 2444, 2471, 2431, and 2516 mAh (for a claimed 2400 mAh capacity).Needless to say, I've ordered some Amazon batteries to replace the highly variable crappy batteries shipped with the solar lamp.

It’s a very bright light
I wish this had also come in white. However, I went ahead and ordered the black one because my little lamp post light just doesn’t enough brightness around my driveway. I did exactly what it said. The little switch is a slider so it goes back-and-forth put it in the sunlight for two days With the switch off and it works perfectly. I think I’m going to be quite happy with it. It’s not mounted yet. I just wanted to make sure that it worked.

MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED
Love this lantern...amazed at how bright the light was from the sun energy...looks very expensive and so far works perfectly!

failed, and can't find any customer support
I bought two, and installed them on the gate posts at the entrance to our property. Great for about 6 months, and then one failed. From what I can see, one of the batteries overheated and melted the housing. And the light bulb somehow got filled up with spider webs and other gunk. I can't figure out how, because the whole thing looks sealed, and I can't get it open to clean it out. And I can't find any way to get customer support for this item.I bought an expensive set of lights, expecting to get better quality. It took a lot of work to fabricate and weld metal mounting plates for these to the tops of the gate posts, so I wish these lights would last forever to make it worth the money and effort I put into them.

Very sturdy and good quality
This old-style lamp adds a nice touch to my outdoor space.Installation was very easy the aluminum build feels sturdy. One of the most striking features is that it's solar-powered. The light charges itself during the day and will turn on automatically upon dusk so I don't have to fuss about remembering to turn it on or off. LED lights are bright and colorful, casting this lovely glow that escalates the atmosphere of my yard, especially during nighttime. I love how it's waterproof, meaning it will hold through any weather condition that may come without issues arising.
