Super durable entry level hobby grade Rc!
Really love the way these Rlaarlo Rc’s are put together. They’re built with pride and quality and with durability in mind as well as exceptional performance. This little 1/18 desert monster truck is a great way to start anybody young or old into the hobby! It managed to get up to 15mph! A bit. Off from the advertised claim but a fun and entertaining speed nonetheless. This chassis and features this truck have are over the top! Very well designed inside and out. One major gripe I do have with this rc is the over sensitive steering and the lack of being able to adequately desensitize the steering. Even at its lowest setting, the steering is very “touchy”. It makes it difficult to point and shoot to where you may want to go with accuracy. Also makes it hard to ramp. For using in a wide open area with lots of space it’s great. It has plenty of power to get through 2” grass, easily climbs over obstacles that may be in is way, hills, through gravel, and also some slash worthy puddles! Rlaarlo’s customer interaction has been great as I have 2 other Rlaarlo models that I am now collecting.Rlaarlo seems to really want to know what we like about their Rc’s after we purchase and also what we don’t like! That’s awesome that they consider customer input and concerns. I guess the next step with this little truck is to put a brushless system in it and see if I can sort out the steering over sensitivity in it. Regardless it’s still a fun and durable little beast! Happy Rc’ing!

Zippy, Kid-Friendly RC Car (Hobby Grade)
Opening the package: the rc car is well packaged and seems like it would prevent any kind of shipping damageFirst impressions: wow, this rc car looks cool! The electric green color is sharp and the graphics are very well done. Any kid (or adult for that matter) will love the looks.Tires: tires are foamless but are very "grippy" and provide for just enough traction to rip around the street or in grass less than 2 inches2-n-1 ESC & receiver combo: speed controller and receiver are combined. I like how the rc car comes equipped with lights that plug in directly into the speed controller.Servo: the truck also comes with a standard 3-wire servo that I thought was going to be too slow, but when driving the truck, the servo is just about the right speed and not overly sensitive, which is great for beginners. Also, if you want to upgrade the ESC, the 3-wire servo will plug right in.Shocks: the truck rc car comes with friction shocks (not oil shocks) which I thought was going to make the truck too bouncy, but when driving the truck, the weight of the truck is just light enough to prevent too much bouncing and the dampers do their job wellSize: the size is 1/18 scale. You can see pictures of the truck next to Rlaarlo's 1/14 scale rc cars, which is about the same size as the 1/14 Rlaarlo brushless buggy and it's bigger brother, the 1/14 Rlaarlo brushed monster truck.Durability: the rc car truck is perfect for the beginner and most of all, it's hobby grade and the chassis is well designed, meaning the truck can take a real beating. Having your first RC be very tough and durable makes getting into the hobby fun as you don't have to worry about breaking the RC car every time you drive it. This particular model is very durable.Driving: the rc car is zippy and packs a punch in such a small package. The speed and acceleration are just fast enough for adults to have a lot of fun zipping it around the yard, but just slow enough that a beginner can get into the hobby without it being too fast.Parts: the truck comes with everything you need—a standard hex wrench for tightening up the tire nuts, two good quality1300 MAH 2s 7.4v batteries, a USB charger, and extra body pins.I have over 40+ RC cars and many of those are 1/14, 1/16, and 1/18th scale. I would say that for the price, this is a great buy and the value is there for the money. Overall, I think Rlaarlo as an rc car manufacturer is innovating in the space and has released uniquely fun hobby-grade RC Cars. Would recommend this 5/5.

Super fast, easy to break
It's easy to break, probably because it's so fast. The manufacturer was helpful and replaced one of the two we bought(and they asked for a review...), but a couple days later, another broke and the manufacturer wouldn't help. Going backwards and then forwards will make it do wheelies, but the gears broke after awhile and the rear wheels stopped spinning. Also both cars have had problems with dirt getting inside and jamming the gearing, requiring disassembly and cleaning with 1 that just wouldn't budge. Suspension doesn't work, as shocks are usually stuck in fully extended position.I suggest you drive it a ton before the return window closes so you can still exchange it if it breaks.

Very fast, exceeded my expectations
I feel this is an incredible value for the money. I paid $65 and cant figure out how they sell it so cheap. This car feels heavy for its size (which I thing is a good thing) because it's parts are compact and heavy duty. Its not very big, see photo for size comparison.I bought it for my 4 year old who was a little too young for this, so I play with it and have a lot of fun. It did not take any skill to figure out the remote. With variable speed and steerage settings I was able to adjust for inside or outside driving. Outside was the most fun and it is really fast. I flipped and rolled it many times without damage or issues. You cannot go from forward to reverse without stopping first which prevents some technical driving, but its not a huge deal at this price point. Along with the car and remote, it also included a spare battery, battery charger, screw driver, a multi-size nut driver, and spare cotter pins that retain the body panel. Each battery pack is two 18650 batteries, soldered and heat sealed with two standard ports, one for the car, one for the charger. Charge time was about 2.5 hours, run time at full speed was about 20 minutes. With a clear line of sight I was able to drive it a solid 150 feet away before losing radio connection.

MONSTER!! Small rc..
Wow, i was really impressed by the quality of this truck. I have a few of these little 1:18 scale rc trucks for 'my kids' to play with and when i opened this Rilaario it was beefy. I have some pictures next to the common 1:18 "sandyland" truck that is pretty much rebranded under many companies (deerc, haiboxoxing, eachines, etc) that i have a few versions of. You can see the difference in size, but the real difference is the quality, and it's everywhere from the tires (bigger, grippier, thicker rubber), the body itself which is stronger, has reinforcements, and really nice lights, all the plastic is much thicker. I saw a few youtube reviews and this thing has metal gears/differentials too. Its just a really nice truck. One of the few negatives is probably that it is a little slower than the other truck, but thats because of it's weight/beefiness. Another negative might be price, I gave it 5 stars because i got it on sale. If you're able to get it on sale jump on it.
