The cover and body are both solid in build. Use a 1-1/2 drill to open up a hole in the wall and the rest is just simple screwing.

This is a very good 120VAC plug for my trailer. It appears to be good quality, nice spring loaded cover and easy to install. The only issues that I have caused the 4-star instead of 5. The flange for mounting is small, so the hole has to be fairly precise. I was using an existing hole from something else and it was a little too big - I had to adapt. It also doesn’t have an electrical cord lead attached to it. Several other competitive ones have a cord with male plug - exactly what I needed. So, I purchased a short extension cord and cut off the female plug end to attach it. It needs a boot around the cord / attachment area for dust protection. The connections are perpendicular and should point away from the plug. But, again, I was able to adapt and it works very well for me after my own changes.

I got this for my camper because I wanted to add an outlet in one of the cubbies. It was easy to install and low profile enough that I shouldn't have to worry about it getting caught by anything getting pulled out or pushed in.

I purchased a 38mm hole saw for nothing, the size details are wrong

If any water intrusion cause fire or damage to your house from this outlet, your home insurance will not cover bceause this product is IP44. IP67 and up is waterproof and outdoor rated and able to stand against elements.
