Saturdays and Teacakes

Excellent read aloud, especially if you are teaching your students how to write personal narratives! I have had the privilege of listening to Lester at conferences, and he knows his stuff!! Great book and author!! :)

This is a sweet story, but the title of the audio cd is misleading. It is NOT a "collection." The first track is a 30 second introduction. The second is the story. The third is the SAME story with page-turn prompts. The fourth track is of the author talking about writing the story. HUGE disappointment. I was really hoping for more than 10 minutes of actual audio for my children to listen to.

I bought this audiobook expecting it to come with a physical book so that my children could read along. Unfortunately, it is only the cd. It's a good story, I just wish it had been a book and cd pack.
