Frank the Seven-Legged Spider

I had very high hopes for Frank the Seven-Legged Spider, alas, my hopes were a bit dashed. This is the tale of Frank the spider, who wakes up one day unaccountably missing one of his eight legs. In other words, does he still qualify as a legitimate spider? A very sweet story with lots of potential, however, it doesn't quite make it. Frank needs just a bit more oomph in his story to really hold your interest.

I bought this book for my 3 1/2-year-old granddaughter. She loved the book and we read it several times. By chance I was shopping in Target just before Halloween and saw a black spider pillow that looked just like Frank. I bought this for my granddaughter and it made reading the book even more enjoyable.

What a fun story! And the pictures are wonderful. There are so many fun details in the illustrations for the kids to enjoy and explore. It is a hit in my house with lots of rereadings.

I love this book for younger kids. It’s sooo funny!! Excellent book. I received it very quickly. I am Spanish but I teach English to 3 to 5 years old kids.
