Trailer Hitch for Ferris IS5100Z, IS2000Z, IS1500Z, IS500Z, IS600Z, IS700Z - Zero Turn Mower

Nicely finished, and fits my IS700Z perfectly. Easily installed.

I wanted a hitch for my mower, Ferris IS600Z, and found this. I did have to cut about an inch off the bottom of it because where I have it mounted, when I back the mower off the trailer it was catching on the road. Now it works flawlessly.

Good fit . Built heavy enough for lighter pulled equipment.

Hitch came packaged decently enough but had deep scrapes in the paint (bare metal was showing). Hopefully it doesn’t rust. Installed easily.

As someone else stated half the price of the manufacturer's hitch. It's 1/4" steel and looks like it'll hold up for the life of the mower and then some. I modified mine to use a 1/2" pin since I will only be using it to use a roller. I did not want to drill into the hitch itself hence my Frankenstein modification. One suggestion to the maker would be have a few different hole sizes as options.Hitch mod rev 2, as much as I didn’t want to drill into the steel I ended up doing so as you can see in second and third pics. Used 3” wide 16 guage flat stock drilled 3/4 hole in each piece of flat stock where the original hole is. Used a grade 8 bolt. I also (for good measure drilled a 3/8 hole in front and added grade 8 bolt there. Again only using a lawn roller (est 300-380lbs) with this set up.

Great product! Just what I needed for my trailer, sweeper, and aerator.

Hitch works great. I like how it mounts but also does not let the tubing collapse while being mounted.
