We have a few different kinds of solar lights up this Christmas, but these icicle lights stay lit the entire night, all the way until sunrise. The rest of our lights end up losing charge at some time during the middle of the night. We plan on purchasing more next season.

Why it don't work the remote control？ The light work some night but not stable！It don't work some nights. So confused！I believe we set it up great but really not sure why they don't shine sometimes！

Lights work great. I love that it is solar powered so I don't have to waste batteries or electricity therefore, saving natural resources and money. It's comparable to brightness as traditional plug-in lights. And I love that there's a remote control so I can turn the lights on/off at my leisure or use the timer function for the lights to have them automatically turn on/off. Great product and nice decor for the holidays.

Solar powered lights have always been hit or miss with my experience - with many I've tried never capturing enough charge during the day to actually light up all night. But these ones have had no problem shining all night until morning! (Which was not my intention, but they do last that long).The solar charging panel is about 6inx3in, so it could be tricky to find a place to put it if handing the lights on the roof - I hung them from a handrail so it was not an issue.The lights come with a remote control, so you can turn them on/off and change brightness etc. without having to go outside into the cold. At least, it worked from my front window to the box which was about 3ft away.Overall a good set of solar powered lights that was so much less trouble to set up than a traditional plug-in type!

These were a little short for our porch but we ended up putting them in a little tree we have in the yard - this is legit the best way to decorate a tree! It took us all of 5 mins to wrap around the top of the tree and then we draped the icicles down through the branches - it looks like we spent so much more time on this little tree. The solar power lasts almost all night too. We like the different settings the lights have too. We are going to get more for next year to add to a few of our other little trees. I mean these would also work great for a house - I just love how easy it made decorating our tiny trees
