I'm on the hunt for new recipes
Aleppo Pepper is a new spice to me. It's not like black pepper, although there is a bit of spice to awaken your taste buds. For me the more interesting difference is the almost fruity quality it adds to dishes. It only takes a small amount to provide a kick to vegetable and meats. A little goes a long way.

Aleppo pepper, must have for Turkish red lentil soup. Yum. Just the right amount of heat.

Always have the spice that you need
It's great for the money especially being a Mediterranean spice I like that a little more and regular red American pepper flakes. The quality and freshness is something I appreciate like I said the heat level isn't too bad at all

Great value for someone new to Aleppo Pepper
I started making a lot more 'ethnic' foods during COVID, and quickly learned that my spice rack was lacking in so many herbs and spices that make these dishes special. I always have cayenne pepper, but learned that peppers are so varied and all lend a unique flavor to my dishes. Ancho pepper is essential for latin dishes, and Aleppo pepper is what I needed for middle eastern and Asian dishes. Of course, I don't want to (and can't) spend a bunch on spices I'll only use one time, but I'm making a Kofta recipe that called for Aleppo pepper. This price seemed reasonable, and the reviews affirmed the quality. I tried a bit on my moistened finger, and the heat is not over powering, but the flavor is great!

Great spice
Adds a little spice with some floral notes. More complex than red pepper flakes. It's a good option to add to your pantry.

Maybe I got a bad batch....
Ordered a bottle after I heard a chef I know rave about it. It's absolutely bland with no flavor whatsoever and with a medium level of heat. I was told it was earthy, with cumin undertones and a little hit of fruity tang... this had none of that. I could of been eating capsaicin laced cardboard and I wouldn't of known the difference.
