AlessiAleesi PL05 W Birillo Soap Dispenser, Standard, White

Very nice soap dispenser. We use this for hand soap. We have a contemporary kitchen and this looks nice on the counter together with our other Alessi items. See photo of it next to our Aesop hand soap and Method dish liquid.Water does collect on the top cover - it is somewhat concave but can be easily wiped off. Also water with collect inside the container - we empty it once a week or soMaterial is plastic and no better or worse that other plastic.. there is a refillable clear container inside. If this soap holder is too expensive for your taste .. there is also a very contemporary looking Umbra soap dispensers for 1/4 of the price. We have a few of the Umbra dispenser in our bathrooms.For design lovers - this Soap Dispenser is designed by architect and designer Piero Lissoni - you will be never be able to find a cheaper Piero Lissoni product - his furniture for Cassini typically run $$$ .. maybe this soap dispenser comes a full circle for him in our kitchen .. apparently he started as a kitchen designer for Boffi many years back.

This soap dispenser is perfect. Clean lines make it invisible in a way that blends with any decor. The interface provides a large surface button to dispense the contents. This is a “less is more” item. I would buy it again and do recommend it.

I purchased this on a recommendation from a friend and I wasn't disappointed. It's easy to load with soap, holds a lot, and is easy to press with one hand. It doesn't get dirty like soap dispensers with metal parts. It sometimes gets a little water in the bottom, but all you have to do is rinse it out when you refill it. If it wasn't so expensive I would have one in every room!

It looks cool, but too big for the bathroom countertop. I wish it was one inch smaller.

It operates very well. We also like its looks, simple and not too tall. It has a large capacity, requiring infrequent refills.

This is a simple soap dispenser that is easy to keep clean and dispenses the soap without messy leaks. I recommend this highly for either kitchen or bathroom.

Ho acquistato il dispenser ed il bicchiere portaspazzolino Alessi Birillo. Non posso dire che sono costati poco, anche se ho trovato il metà-prezzo, ma posso certamente confermare che mi dureranno una vita.Sono fatti in plastica bianca, ma il materiale è molto resistente, non ho paura di bagnarlo e non sembra ingiallire con il tempo. Stanno bene su qualsiasi lavabo e in qualsiasi ambiente, ma ammetto che dai designer di Alessi mi sarei aspettata qualcosa in più per il design.Il disperser è abbastanza capiente (credo almeno 300 ml) e funziona alla grande. Ne ho cambiati diversi negli ultimi anni e quasi sempre il punto debole è la fuoriuscita del sapone: Alessi Birillo è molto stabile anche con tap repentini, rilascia una giusta quantità di sapone e soprattutto non devo temere che il "becco" si consumi.Il bicchiere portaspazzolino ha due pregi per me insostituibili, che in realtà fanno capo ad una sola caratteristica: è grande. Entrano tranquillamente dentifricio e tre (forse quattro) spazzolini elettrici, che come sapete sono più grandi ed almeno una decina di spazzolini classici. Grazie alla sua ampiezza, inoltre, riesco a pulire il fondo con facilità, cosa che non avevo mai trovato in nessun portaspazzolino economico.In definitiva, consiglio Alessi Birillo dispenser e portaspazzolini anche se costano un po' troppo rispetto a prodotti della stessa categoria. Però si sa la qualità si paga.

Bought this because I have wasted money numerous times buying fancy soap dispensers. So although this is quite expensive for a soap dispenser and not sparkly and pretty...I think its great and should last for a long time (hopefully). I do actually like the look of it and it looks good on my bathroom sink.

Schon seit längerem hole ich immer wieder Kleinigkeiten für den Haushalt von Alessi. Durch Zufall bin sich auf die Birillo-Serie gestossen und fand sie sofort schön.Die Schlichtheit verleiht den Produkten eine dezente Eleganz und die Tatsache, dass es sich um Kuststoff handelt, schmälert den positiven Eindruck keineswegs.Das Weiss unterstreicht die sachliche Linie und hat den Vorzug, zu so gut wie jeder Badezimmereinrichtung zu passen.Alle von mir erworbenen Teile sind gut zu handhaben und sehr pflegeleicht.Ich besitze den Kosmetiktuch-Behälter (ist einfach zu befüllen, indem man die Tücher aus dem Pappkarton entnimmt und einfach einlegt),den Abfallbehälter (groß genug, um auch eine leere Duschgel-Flasche aufzunehmen),die Zahnputzbecher (endlich passen auch unsere Oral-B UND die Zahnpasta hinein),die Seifenschale (leicht zu reinigen und guter Abluss, die Seife liegt so immer trocken),die offene Schale (für diverse Haarbänder) undden Seifenspender.Der Seifenspender hat es mir besonders angetan. Endlich einer, der kleckerfrei und einfach zu befüllen ist, der nicht nachtropft und einen großen Drücker hat. So kann man auch mit den Fingerknöcheln Seife herausdrücken, wenn man gerade die Hände voller Erde von der Gartenarbeit hat - und der Seifenspender bleibt trotzdem sauber!Den Wattepad-Spender finde ich nicht so praktisch, daher habe ich ihn nicht gekauft.Zugegebenermaßen sind die Preise gesalzen. Aber im Bad sieht alles richtig klasse aus und man hat eine stimmige Linie.Ich habe nicht einen Cent bereut. :-)
