Sargent Art 22-4400 1-Pound Primary Assorted Color Clay

Perfect for using with silicone to make molds. It's durable and you can reuse it indefinitely. But, when working with kids, keep an eye on them. I bought the pink one and it smells like fruit candy, children might be tempted to eat some. Thankfully it's non toxic. Side note: our dogs will eat giant pieces when we aren't looking. They think it's food because it smells like food. (They're fine, but just be careful and don't leave it out anywhere!)

Young children may find it hard to knead out of the package - a grownup should knead it up a bit to soften it up to make it more pliable in small young hands.My use for product was to repair damaged mold castings in an industrial setting, and this stuff is just right. It is nice and firm, and holds its shape while the repair is being made. Would certainly buy it again.

My 8yo artist has really been into sculpting this past year and had used up all of her black. So words can't explain how excited she was when I pulled this out of the amazon bag. It arrived very quick too. I would say the product is as described and acts like any other modeling clay she has ever had. She's almost out of red, so I'll be back to buy from this brand again.

Worked well with molds

It's the same oil clay I used in highschool to make plaster casts with. I really like this type of clay because I can do so many projects without commitment. I can start a sculpture and once I've lost interest, I can start something new without feeling guilt about wasting my art materials on incomplete projects.

Ordered the natural colors clay because it suppose to have an elephant on the cover as shown in the advertisement. I specifically ordered this for that reason because me son loves elephants and I was going for an all elephant packing theme for Christmas. However, the packaging wasn’t was advertised and didn’t have the elephant. I’m assuming the clay is the same though.

This set of color clay is intended for modeling for me. They're easy to mold, hold the shape well and for the second intention, has assorted colors for playing. They do need some hand strength as I feel, but I said modeling is my prior intention, so I'm quite satisfied with it. So far, I've used this clay and plastic liquid repair kit to make small parts for my vehicle. e.g. small click part of the cup holder, sunshade holder...etc. I've also applied paint on the parts to make them more adaptive in the setting. Therefore, I didn't to have to replace every piece in my car that had small problems, which saved me a lot of money.As for the fun playing part, I don't have a lot of experience to share and comment. One thing I can say is that I didn't get my hands dyed by handling the clay, which I thought could be worth to mention since I remember getting hands dyed all the time when I was a kid by playing clays.Overall, very pleased.

It’ll do. I ordered this for my little girl. We waited for over 6 weeks for this to arrive. When it did the colors were off a bit from the photo. Not really a pastel pack. The pink is actually a light fleshy peach, the green is dark, the yellow primary, and the blue is between denim and sky blue.

Great value, nice size quantity of clay compared to other clay packages. Makes good gift for crafty kids.

I bought this as an add-on item when it was on sale for $2.76. At this price, I hit the jackpot. I would pay a lot more for the clay. It is easy to work with. I store it in a ziplock bag and it does not dry out. If you do crafts, this is a great clay to have in your tickle trunk.
