This is legit
I don't normally write reviews. I'm making an exception because this stand is legit. Super high quality out of the box, highly recommend. (13.5' laptop)

Great for having your laptop as a second monitor and space saving
For those of us that work at home. You likely have a docking station for your work laptop and a separate keyboard/mouse and much larger screen. Most of the time I just have the laptop in mirror mode and I don’t really use it, using the peripheral attachments. So this intrigued me because it has the 360 swivel.Desk space is a premium when you work at home, you have your workstuff, and likely your household stuff all on the same desk. So I like that this minimizes the desktop real estate it takes up by raising the laptop up. I have a small scanner now that fits under this. Here is what I really liked the most, by raising this up and adjusting the angle, I can make it level with my larger monitor and take it off of Mirror mode and extend the laptop. This came in very handy with a customer video call. I had the customer video image on my main screen with my camera, but this allowed me to have my notes on the laptop screen just a eye twitch to the left of my main screen with all my notes. I sounded awesome to my customer because all my facts and figures were right there. Can you say teleprompter. Any how it was great. The adjustable height and rotation just made it easy and for the most part I could just look into the camera and blink away when I needed a fact or figure. When not in meetings I really like just displaying my to do list and calendar on the other screen. So essentially though my laptop was always a second monitor, the positioning on my desk made that configuration impractical as such; this changed that.So it’s simple to set up, and sturdy. My cat likes to make appearances on teams calls by jumping on my desk. I am not worried about him rattling my desk and it falling over. He will rub up against it and I feel my laptop is safe on it and that it won’t topple so the weight distribution is great. It’s heavier than other laptop stands I have had before and the only solution I think I’d consider as an alternative is an articulating, clamp on arm type, of lap top stand. But this really has the same effect and very low desktop space profile. It’s easy to adjust, in a set and forget it kind of way. I’d not adjust it with the laptop on it, but you can.So what don’t I like: Wires. My laptop still needs it’s USB C from the laptop to the docking station, and I need my camera to use one of the laptop USB ports. I have cleaned it up with black zip ties and it looks fine. I am not sure there is a solution for that yet. Then just one last thought. I still use my wireless mouse and keyboard. If you’re thinking you’re going to using this as an alternative to a standing desk using the laptop for mouse and keyboard input while it rests on this stand, I think it will work. It’s sturdy enough, BUT you will get vibration. It’s going to jiggle when you type.Overall darn good job. That’s for making a second monitor feasible on a cluttered desk!

Good stand but doesn't stay extended
I was very impressed with this stand at first. The build quality seemed sturdy and great.Everything was perfect until I tried to extend the stand and tighten the knob to hold it in place. It doesn't stay in place when extended. If I push down very slightly, or rest my hands on the laptop, it quickly and abruptly drops down a few notches.Luckily, I didn't have my laptop on there yet. But no matter what I tried, it wouldn't stay at the height I wanted it to.If you aren't going to touch the laptop and will use an external mouse and keyboard, or if you don't want to extend it past it's lowest height, then it's probably fine.Other than the extension not working properly, it's a great stand. If the extension problem is resolved, this would be a great stand!

Nice Stand, Just Not for a Heavy Laptop.
The media could not be loaded. I really wanted to like this laptop stand, but it didn’t work for me. The product description said it works for laptops up to 17 inches, but it doesn’t work with my 17-inch Dell. My laptop is too heavy. The riser arm works great and holds up the weight of my heavy laptop, but the actual platform the laptop sits on does not. There needs to be a way to tighten the platform once you adjust the tilt to your desired angle, but it doesn’t have that. If the laptop is heavy, it causes the platform to flatten down and then the laptop tips backward off the stand. I had to resort to shoving my screwdriver set under the platform to keep it propped up, but that’s not a reliable solution. When the prop falls out, the laptop falls, and that’s never a good thing. The stand also wobbled a lot whenever I touched my computer, making me worry that it might tip over, but again, I think that’s because my laptop is so heavy. In spite of the problems I had with the stand, I still gave it 4 stars because it IS very heavy duty and sturdy and would probably work great with a smaller, lighter laptop. They need to revise the description to state that it works best with smaller laptops. They also need to fine tune the design a little and add the ability to lock the tilt angle of the platform. Otherwise, it’s really a nice stand. I may use it once in a while with my tablet, and it will come in handy if I ever get a smaller laptop.
