Flowmaster943052 50 Series Delta Flow Chambered Muffler

Arrived quickly and sounds great.

I purchased this muffler for my sons pick-up truck and he stated it works great and was easy to install.

This is my 3rd Flowmaster (Mustang GT 4.6 w/Super 44s; Dodge Dakota 4.7 w/ 50 series Delta Flow) and when I sold both of those vehicles recently the mufflers still looked and sounded like new (10+ and 5+ years old respectively). So when it was time to upgrade the muffler on my new project (2003 GMC Sierra 5.3L 2wd RCSB) buying another was a no-brainer ! I cut out the factory muffler, had a buddy stretch the factory 2-3/4" pipes, then I welded a short piece of 3" pipe, slid the muffler over each, band-clamped it together and that was that. The truck sounds wayyyy better than stock, it seems to rev more willingly, it's loud enough to let everyone nearby hear my LS motor sing but not so loud that it's annoying, there's essentially zero drone in the cab, and because of my past experience (they seem to last forever), I'm probably now a Flowmaster owner for life (I look forward to putting one on my next project).

Great mufflers. Louder than expected but the sound is sweet.
