Holy crap. What a difference a light can make. It's vibrant, it's simple, it's the best money I've spent on an aquarium light ever. If you're unsure if about buying this light, don't be... it's seriously the best light I've owned.

It doesn't come with a remote as depicted on the picture. However you can use your cell phone.It's complicated. If being used as an aquarium light, the levels have to be turned down or it will grow algae!

I’ve been using this light for about a year and a half now, and overall, it’s been great. It’s currently set up on my 90-gallon planted aquarium. While it gets the job done, I’m planning to order a second one to get better coverage from front to back.The app isn’t as tricky as some reviews make it sound, but I do have one minor complaint. When using the 24-hour timer, I’m stuck with the pre-set lighting scenes: Fishlight, Moonlight, Sunlight, and Ocean Blue. I can’t fully customize the lighting in this mode, which is a bummer. For example, the Sunlight setting is a little too yellow for me, and the Fishlight setting is too orange.The timer splits the day into eight blocks of time. For my setup, I use one block for an 8-hour photo period (1:00 PM to 9:00 PM) on the Sunlight scene at 70% brightness. It’s not perfect, but it works. Outside the timer mode, I have full control over the RGB lighting, brightness (0–100%), and color temperature (3000K–6700K), which is awesome! The downside is that I’d have to turn the light on and off manually, so I’ve settled for the Sunlight scene in the 24-hour timer for now.The Sunrise/Sunset feature is really neat. It gradually brightens to mimic sunrise and then dims down to Moonlight in the evening. You can adjust how long the sunrise/sunset and Moonlight phases last, but I prefer keeping “full sun” all day for better plant growth.There are also two custom scenes where I can set my own RGB, brightness, and color temperature, which is fantastic—except I can’t use them with the timer. That’s a bit disappointing since it would make things so much easier.Overall, I'm pleased with what this light does for the price, but I would like to see more user control in future updates.

Build quality is reasonable, and though these are not premium high PAR full spectrum lamps they would have sufficed if it weren't for the fact that the Bluetooth connectivity was a complete fail. They would work once, then not again till manually power cycled.As such they are unusable for my purposes. Perhaps there will be some improvement, but until then if you're looking for budget lamps, I would forego the Bluetooth and save money.

Unfortunately this list went dim on me 6 months later, nice light but doesn’t work for the expected time.The app is horrible I have only been able to connect to my lights one time.You can’t set a timer for if you are out of town or not home, you can’t turn the lights on unless your home with the app connected thru Bluetooth

The media could not be loaded. I love this light, I did have a little trouble getting the app to work so I looked on YouTube and found out how to add my lights to the app. So now it’s working great, so if you have a problem with the app I would recommend looking on YouTube it was so easy to understand. I am still working out the lighting colors for my aquarium.
