I read other reviews and they said the pad to hold the arm to the car was sticky and would fix well in a car, well not in a fiesta.The rough surface all over the dash meant the ‘sticky pad’ (it’s not sticky it’s just a silicon suction cap ) would not stick. In the end I found only one place that I could attach the arm if I didn’t want to use the vent grip. I have gone off vent grips as they are at risk of damaging the fins on the vents if you tighten them a bit too much.You can see where I stick the suction cap in the video. Be prepared to lick it or wet it with a finger to get suction.It’s a nice charger the cable is long enough to reach the back of the phone holder easily enough.It has a blue LED glow for a while, it does go off when the phone is in place. When you remove the phone there is a delay then it glows again so you can find it in the dark.Putting the phone in place and removing it involves touching the bottom support, it works, there is no physical button you just touch underneath and the arms move.The 12 v charging adapter lights up to display your battery voltage when nothing is charging and then the charging voltage when your phone is in place.So far it’s a nice bit of equipment as a grippy wire less charger for iPhone 8 onwards.I’m not sure how it will cope if you have a leather case on your phone, certainly not one that folds over like a purse.

Really easy to use one-handed - automatically grips when it senses a wireless charging phone, releases with the hidden button at the bottom.+ Very decent power delivery (about 10W), even with a phone in a case. not only compatible with iPhones, also compatible with all other wirelessly charged phones.+ Included power adapter works fine (very shiny front though - check that it fits in with your car's overall aesthetic).Things I didn't like:- Short cable - just about 1m.Do I recommend it?Yes - it's very decent quality and charging performance is really strong. It's very reasonably priced too, at about £20 after vouchers.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a wireless car charger that you plug into your car’s cigarette lighter socket and attach to the air vent. You can then simply place your phone on the charger, and it charges wirelessy. This is so much better than having to plug the cable into the lightning cable port on my phone, which can be quite fiddly when it’s in situ. It's build quality is solid, and it's easy to assemble.At first, I though it wasn’t going to attach to my car’s vent, but then I realised that you have to attach the spring-loaded clip section to the car vent slat BEFORE you then screw the main section onto the back section. It is then extremely secure and can be tilted to any desired angle using the ‘ball’ joint.What impressed me even more – and I wasn’t expecting – is that when you place your phone on the mount, the sides automatically move in to hug it in place. When you want to remove the phone, simply touch underneath the mount (where it says ‘touch’) and the sides then open to release it. Please read the instructions first and don’t try to squeeze the sides in manually (as I almost did at first!).The stand lights up when in use which is great AND it charges VERY quickly. My only slight problem is that, if I leave it plugged in after leaving and turning off and locking my car, it still stays lit and appears that it would continuously draw power from my car’s battery (see my pics). I have waited 15 minutes after leaving the car, but it still remains on. This can be overcome by pulling the plug out of the cigarette charger when you leave the car.Having said that, I absolutely LOVE this car charger and highly recommend it.

Not very good as break after a month.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice gadget charger! Holder lights up so it looks smart in the dark and the press button on the bottom works well to open and close the arms. As a nice geeky touch, the cigarette lighter plug displays the voltage.Comes with everything you need for screen or vent mounting. Only dropped one star on sturdiness off the vent mount. It is a strong clamp but could do with a hook around the back of the vent to prevent it pulling out. Highly recommended 👍👍

the holder sticks well to the window, and hold the phone well too, not to much jiggle either.the touch works well and make it fell very modern system, the wireless works well to although after longer journeys does make my phone a bit warm if maps is running too.
