As another reviewer stated, I also received the Conair Pro brand, not Jilbere. I decided to try it out, and it seems to work well, just not as well as the other two actual Jilbere branded curling irons I have had for a few years. Also, the packaging was quite difficult to deal with, had to basically rip it apart to get the curling iron out.

Heats up well. The surface of the iron feels smooth. The smooth surface and functionality of the clipping mechanism does not break my hair like some curling irons do. Curls very well & fairly fast. Was hoping for a magic curling iron that would put curls in my hair that last longer than a few hours but it's pretty standard in terms of the time curls last. I love the way the electrical cord spins on the bottom and does not get tangled.

Does not have auto shutoff, which is very, very bad for a forgetful gal like me. Also, this is the professional model, so the cord is twice as long as my previous iron, which I don’t like in a home setting. The iron is so hot it instantly produces steam as soon as it touches my hair, yet the curls are weak and don’t last. The Indicator lights don’t flash when it’s heating up, so you’re not sure when it’s ready. You have to unplug the iron completely if you want the red indicator light to go out. The on/off buttons are in a place where I’m constantly accidentally pushing them as I use the curler.All in all, not a good buy for me.

They thought of everything on this iron. It would be really nice. soft curls on long hair. My short hair didn't work especiallywith an iron this long.

I had one before, and knocked the top part off couldn't fix it so needed another one, works great!!
