These scribing tools work very well and the self oiling characteristic makes them easy to use. The pliers included make breaking along the scribe line effortless and precise, the rubber tips on the end are a nice touch both for good leverage and not marking the panel!I very much like that this kit included all the tools I would need for a project all in one convenient set, even included cutting fluid and a pipette to fill the tool reservoir.The included instructional video was very helpful to a first time user like myself and I am extremely impressed with the fast response time from Leah for getting that to me!All in all I can tell the entire team behind this is professional and passionate about what they do, I'd highly recommend their products to anyone looking for tools for all types of glass projects!

These tools feel and look like excellent quality! They should last a lifetime with proper care (which they tell you how to do even). You can tell this company truly cares about it's customers and their satisfaction. They even provide an email to reach out to in the case you have any questions. I received a response to my email requesting the free bonus video within 24hrs, so I recommend doing that first with any questions/concerns you may have!

Everything seems to work fine although I did not receive the pencil cutter. Other than that everything works well!

The pistol grip cutter in this kit works so much better than all the cutters I got to try out in my stained glass class. I'm very small, so it was a struggle to get a clean score line. With the cutter in this kit, that's no longer a problem. The pliers included are not too heavy and easy to handle, but sturdy.The video was also helpful. I picked up some tips that wasn't mentioned in the class I took.Overall, I'm very glad that this is my first set of stained glass tools!

I'm a beginning glass artist. I am very happy with this set of tools. They are great quality. I thought at first that I would prefer a pencil grip cutter, so I bought one of those as well. However, I find I much prefer the pistol grip that comes with this set, as my hands are not strong and this type of cutter makes it easier for me to apply consistent pressure. I only wish I had not put any oil in the handle, as I've learned from the experts that this is not really necessary, and it leaves oil on the glass that is a bit of a pain to clean off. (The experts seem to apply a small amount of oil for longer cuts by dipping the cutting edge in a bit of oil). If, like me, you are new to cutting glass, I recommend that you find the Peter McGrain online video.
