I have bought probable every form of splash proof lid that exists. They all reasonably work as described, but I always thought that the design was lacking in all of them. We all know about the slide models leaking like a sieve, the flap models hitting you in the nose when you try to take a sip, and although the single straw models come close, there is still no way to seal them off. The straws are great, but too small in the hole for any serious sealing. I have always thought that some sort of silicone grommet or gasket that fills the gap between straw and hole would have made this model perfect. The new Everie molels with the white flaps come close, but the contents of your tumbler will still come pouring out if you tip your cup over, should you havedared to opt for straw drinking. If you only want to sip, they, at least, can be sealed, and their flap folds back far enough so as not to hit your nose when you drink.Enter these new lids. They feature a straw hole in the center of the lid, and there is an unobtrusive plug attached to the hole gasket that can be folded into the hole if you remove the straw! Genius. They also possess the traditional flap to accommodate the sippers, the flap being engineered well; no nose hitting, and easily opened and closed. I am in love with these things. Finally, someone has addressed the shortcomings of the previous models of all brands.If I have any nit picky negatives to mention, i would say that they could fit just a little tighter, but this is not a deal breaker. When trying to seal a tumbler full of liquid, you really want that gasket on the perimeter of the lid to be super secure. Also, I would love to have these in the 20 oz size, too. That would be perfect for the coffee spillage problem that plagues all of us who like to use straws for the coffee we carry around....and the price! A little more than $3 a piece is very reasonable. Compare this to some of the lesser models I've described, and the value of these will be evident.

These lids are really good to have for the 30oz Tumblers. Any of these lids no matter how much you pay for them have the problem that if they fall or drop on the kitchen floor, the piece that covers the sip opening breaks off, which weakens the support over the cover over the sip opening. That isbecause if you lift the piece in order to take a sip, the piece will come off in your hand. This instabilitydoes not effect the use of the straw hole. The problem is if you drop the Tumbler with the weakened lid on you WILL have a spill. BUT if you don’t drop a fresh unbroken lid on the floor itwill serve you well. The unbroken lid is very strong. The other day I dropped a fully filled Tumbler on the carpet in the living room and I didn’t spill a drop. These are the best lids for these Tumblers and they work very well. I recommend these lids very highly. If there is any change in my opinion, I will come back and update at that time

The lids appear to be nice quality, but they certainly do NOT fit the New Style Rtic 30oz Tumblers (this is stated in the description - but like a dummy, I didn't do enough research to see what is a New style vs Old style Rtic. FYI - the NEW Rtic's have a bear in the "R" embossed on the side along with the "RTIC" wording. Also, the lid (that you would be replacing) would have the bear in the "R" on the lid that came with the tumbler.) On the bright side, I also have a couple Yeti cups that I will be able to use these on since they are non-returnable. At least I'm not out a bunch of $.Next time - note to self: do more research

The Lids that came with my insulated tumbler cracked the first time i used them. when removing the lid, the pressure cracked random parts of the lid. These Lids have been used for months now and fits better than the lids that came with the tumbler. They are easier to put on and remove, while seals in heat or cool temp. This Product is def a must have.

These kids are terrible. The tab that keeps it closed and leakproof is flimsy and when you flip it back to drink, it does not stay open so it has to rest on your nose. Very annoying. I’m not sure what the point of the center rubber stopper is but I was praying it would hold the tab back. It doesn’t. And the “pins” that hinge the tab are practically nonexistent, so the tabs going to fall off anyway which makes the cup NOT leakproof. I could have stuck with my old, non-sealable lid and been way less aggravated and a few dollars richer. Cheaply made and not worth a penny.

Nice tight fit and definitely leak proof. Lid stays secure and drinks stay hot. Haven't tried cold drinks yet, but I'm sure they will perform well too. Only problem was it is a little difficult to clean under sliding opening in lid. Soaking in soapy water and sponging then rinsing clean shouls do the trick. Very happy with my purchase. Bought 3 pack to have backup lids

For me it's. Really not that good of a product. When I put the lid on, the rubber seal peels back. I had to use the seal from my original cap. In order for it to work easier. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue. I only tried one cap. Even though I purchased the package of 3 caps. Also the cap fits really tight I guess that's what I get for taking the cheaper way. I shouldn't have to fight the seal to replace the cap.

Do not get if you are looking for it to fit Tervis mugs. Does not fit and you can't return it.

These lids were expensive & it's only been a Month since I purchased them, & I only have 1 of them left, as the two other's cracked.

Estaba dudosa de comprarlas pero me llevé una grata sorpresa. Embonan y ajustan perfecto, nada de derrames. Tengo 3 yetis de 30 oz y súper bien les funcionan. El precio estupendo para ser 3 piezas.

The shatterproof lids are not shatterproof at all, it's a good thing I ordered three replacement/spares as I'm now down to one spare. The lids are crap.The seals are nearly as bad and frequently leak

Lo pedí para mi vaso Rtic, pero no le quedó :(. Afortunadamente tengo otros vaso Yeti y le ha funcionado muy bien. Lo recomiendo.OJO: Para prevenir que alguien mas no lea bien el anuncio como yo... NO FUNCIONA PARA VASO RTIC 30OZ de ahora, para los antiguos.
