Safari Ltd. Cockatoo

I love this little bird. I had a cockatoo for twenty years who unfortunately passed away two months ago and this reminds me so much of her. Oliver was forever chasing my poor cats around and she would spread her wings just like that when she ran at them. Birds can't see straight on, so she would tilt her head exactly the same way and glare at the offending cat with one eye. Oliver even had the same yellow under her wings and tail although she was an umbrella so she had a white Crest instead of yellow. It seems that whoever designed this figurine either had a cockatoo or spent some time studying them. The product itself is good - very sturdy plastic and the bird actually stands. It is pretty small, about as tall as my thumb with a wingspan the length of my middle finger but it is very detailed with separate pin feathers on the wings and a nice texture on the body. I got this because it reminds me of my Ollie but I will definitely look at more of these figurines as gifts. I think kids who like animals would go crazy over this because it is so authentic looking.

Like everyone else said, I should of have read the description because this thing is tiny but that's on me for not reading otherwise nice product

Should have read more carefully; product dimensions in the chart do NOT match the paragraph description. This thing’s TINY! It’ll work, but it’s only 2” tall and I feel like the price is high for this teeny mite. Looks fine; you can tell what it is.
