Schatten Magnet Polarity Tester

It’s simple and effective. Not a lot needs to be said, it’s well made for what it and what it does, it’s accurate and easy to visually see / “read”. When over the North side of the magnet, the dial flips over and becomes white. When over the south side it flips over and turns black.

Used this to determine the orientation of the magnets I'm replacing in my pickups. Just hold it up to the screws and it'll show you the correct pole, (usually south) hold it to the replacement magnet and find south, then mark it so it goes in that way into the pickup and you're golden.

Very simple tool. It just works, and tells ya what you wanna know.

Very simple but very handy! An easy way to check the polarity on a set of guitar pickups, particularly when working with a loaded Stratocaster pickguard and you are unsure whether or not the middle pickup is reverse wound. Love it!
