Comfortable for sleeping!
I've tried a dozen or so ear plugs over the years trying to find the perfect one. Lots of disposable ones, a few re-usable etc. I found that these moldable types tend to be the most comfortable since you can adjust them and they will automatically fill in to match your ear. The previous ones I tried were similar but were a bit too sticky. These have a very nice material that is comfortable and non-irritating! A bit sticky but otherwise fine for me, though it might be irritating so those with sensitive skin. I sleep with ear plugs a lot since I'm a light sleeper and these are perfect for my needs. With the right seal you can completely block out external noises. I have nothing bad to say here- you get 6 pairs for a reasonable price and you can even use them for a few nights. The carrying case is large and useful as well which is a nice touch. I highly recommend these!

Effectiveness depends on your ear's shape and use of item
For the price, I'd say these are pretty good. Not great, but good. As far as comfort, they are quite comfortable. In fact, I think it's the biggest plus for these, because I can wear them to sleep. That said, they do not block out really low or high frequencies. They do filter sound, but if you are dealing with say, a partner who saws logs in their sleep, or cars with 1000 watt stereos behind your house, it's not going to do much. For those situations, get yourself some high-quality noise-cancelling headphones. For other types of sound - annoying background noise, your room-mates TV set, these can help. Be sure to follow the instructions included, and like some other reviewers have said, make sure that you get them all the way into your ear canal. You really need to get them up there to block the noise. There are six pairs, so they should last a while. Thanks for reading my review.

Not bad
I used these earplugs during my vacation. For whatever someone thought it was a good idea to set off fireworks after midnight. The loud boom jarred me awake so I decided to pop these in. They worked fine and I slept like a baby for the rest of the night.

Takes a little practice
This style earplug takes a little getting used to. It takes practice to get the right shape to block sound. But once they are in, these earplugs are effective at blocking most sound. I wouldn't mind if these were a more neural color, say tan or brown. These should be ideal for keeping with my motorcycle, especially for longer rides.

Worked well for me...
I use some form of noise reduction every night now when I sleep. I don't want to, but it is what it is. I've tried several different types now and in many styles of each of the post-style, the foam kind and these, the silicone style. Out of all the silicone brands I've tried, these were the best. They were the softest and easiest to use. I am a side sleeper and I felt these the least. Also, they did what they're supposed to do - reduce noise. I could still hear, but the noises were reduced to a point where I could sleep. The little box it comes in is tiny and easily packable without taking any room up when traveling. I don't know about how they'd be swimming, but for sleeping, they're not bad at all. Overall, I like them.

Could be cheaper
Works as expected. I prefer the moldable, adjustable silicone ear plugs as others hurt me. They're convenient when sharing the pack. The case is practical and was sealed. The only thing is these are $12.99 though an extra 10% off today, and you can buy similar earplugs for less.

just okay - but I do love the color
I don’t think they stay put very well, but I love the color. I think they're decently comfortable if you can get them to stay where they need to be. Mine personally would stay for a few minutes and then slowly I started hearing sounds louder and louder because the seal just didn't "stick".A little difficult to use and I don’t think they’re as good of protection compared to foam ones (for things like concerts). You shouldn’t put any actually inside your ear, just seal it from outside the ear.

They work great for me
I used to use a similar ear plug made from wax years ago, so I was familiar with the style and insertion process. I’ve been using the foam kind the last few years because I had finally found some that worked in my small ears. But I was experiencing irritation in my ear canals so I wanted to give them a break. Thinking of the wax type I searched ear plugs and stumbled on these to try. They are bigger than the wax ones and have more coverage creating a better seal and sound protection. They don’t block all sound and you can still have a conversation with them in, but it’s muffled. Snoring can still be heard, but it could with the foam kind too. They block the annoying background noise like the drone and rattle of the train 1/4 mile away going by every 20 min (no whistles unless a crossing gate isn’t functioning) allowing me to fall asleep, and once I’m asleep it’s enough that sounds don’t wake me up, even snoring. That only bothers me if I can’t fall asleep to start with, but it is more muffled so that’s good.
