**Q: Hello - is the RJ45 end the same as an ethernet cable?**
A: The standard UTP (unshielded twisted pair) Ethernet cable uses an RJ45 connector at both ends.  While this cable does have an RJ45 connector on one end it is a RS232 serial communication cable not an Ethernet cable.  It will not work if you connect it to an Ethernet interface on another device such as a switch or router.

A: Yes, it works. As long as your device has RJ45 console interface and your computer USB is usb-c port, it can work. If you need other help, please contact.

**Q: Does this work for connecting my cell phone to a land line phone?**
A: It does not. As it is not an RJ11(phone plug) it is an Ethernet plug(rj-45)
