I liked the wide variety of grasses covered

Well written, and helpful in ID for lots of the local grasses. Have been doing Riparian surveys and needed brushing up on Faculative and Forbs.

Good reference book for prairie grass id.

Good pictures and descriptions. My boyfriend loves it for identifying grasses in the field. Took off a star because some of the range maps are a little messed up and there are some misspellings.

The writing is technical with little explanation. The sketches are big enough but the photos are tiny.

This Texas A & M book is another of their great products.

Unsure of content--not rated for that reason. Low rating for usability on Kindle phone app. This is a 'FIELD GUIDE'. I want to use it on my phone in the FIELD. Unreadable on phone. Displays like its scanned pages of the book and does not scale like digital text.
