I own both the HiVi X4s and Genelec 8020s and to my ear they are peers.

Great studio monitors, amazing bass.
Great sound, they came with individual SPL graphs showing the frequency response for each unit. These are active monitors that extend all the way down to 55hz, which is amazing for how small they are. I used them for mixing.
