Purchased in January. Still working. Mowers sliced the wires and I was able to repair easily. Wish the control box and stuff was water resistant. Had to buy a weather proof box to hold these items dry.

The media could not be loaded. They are really great to work with. I ordered a couple different sets. One was 260 ft for my tunnel and then the 90ft for the house. I love that I can change the colors and transition then from halloween to christmas. I am definitely getting my moneys worth by being able to keep them up for 4 months vs 2. They are easy to change the color. You have to hold the remote right next to the transmitter, and I know some people might think that is a down side but for me that is great. It means that I can have two strands plugged in next to each others and I am able to change the strands one at a time to different colors. Also have a short range like that keeps other frequencies from other devices from changing your light colors. Definitely recommend!

This is our second time buying these lights. Not good outdoor lights. They broke doing nothing! Last year I just thought my husband was being too rough with them rehanging them somewhere and they just didn't work. This year we hung them nicely around our deck railing and they just stopped working for no reason. It's just gone over Amazon's return policy. If these do appeal to you make sure you get the protection plan, you'll need it. Feeling bummed we can't get a replacement or our money back after two issues.

There are a ton of color options and they look great on the tree. There are a lot of them, though. Probably enough to go around 2 more trees. They come in 3 sections, and the third is just sitting under the tree now. Better too many than too few though.

I LOVED these lights. The plan was to drape them weeping willow style in our tall oak trees. They’d be orang for Halloween and probably white for Christmas. We may have left them to do red for Valentine’s Day. But, a week in the squirrels started nibbling and the light were done. The lights are great, just caution for squirrels.

I bought these specifically because they said Christmas and Halloween lights in the title description. The best you can get for Christmas colors is alternating Red and Green. There's no strictly Red Green Blue or any alternating of that. There's no orange or purple for Halloween. If you want these for 4th of July there is a Red White Blue setting.Another HUGE issue is that the remote isn't RF, it's IR (infrared). This means you have to have it pointed perfectly at the receiver unit for it to change the lights. This is a no-go if you were to have these tucked into a Xmas tree.Check the picture for the light modes. If it does ones you want, go for it. It definitely does not do what I want even though it should be perfectly cable of it, they just programmed it extremely poorly IMHO.

One string did this huge tree. The lights are really pretty, tons of color options, and the wires blend in really well. Very happy with the choice, but I highly recommend a spool to pack away or they’ll be impossibly tangled. It’s a very loooong string!
