Kept the Texas heat at bay
Used this on a multi-state road trip and it worked great. The inside is water repellant so your shirt doesn't get soaked. Only downside is that once the vest is soaked the outside gets a thin film of some sort of slime from whatever material is used to absorb the water. Not a big deal, and worth it for the money. FYI it runs a bit large, I typically wear a medium but it was a bit big on me.

Works great when there's wind
This vest works like it says - by evaporative cooling. This makes it great for any situation where there's a breeze; otherwise it will feel wet and clammy if you're just standing around with no wind. Very effective when riding a motorcycle - it saved me through 6hr of 112 deg heat in the southwest. As for size - I take XL shirts but the XL vest was loose over my t-shirt so I'd say it runs large. I still wear a vented jacket over it which keeps it in contact with my skin and works as designed. Very light weight and comfortable and the price is right for something you are going to wear occasionally.

Cools well, sizes run large
It soaks up an amazing amount of water and cools as advertised. However, the sizes run large. I wear a large in shirts, and the large sized vest is way too big.

"Coolest" Summer Motorcycle Accessory
This just WORKS! By itself, it stays cool for a couple of hours. However, under a mesh motorcycle jacket, as long as it stays wet (and you're moving), it stays cool. Buy a lightweight dry-bag to store it overnight while on the road. I typically stop every few hours for fuel anyway. When I do, I drop the vest into its (reverse) dry-bag with some ice and water, and let it sit while I stretch my legs. Climbing back into it feels amazing (for hours)! It can initially feel heavy and a bit bulky, but sooo worth it. The gel cells do a good job of retaining the water, but some will inevitably leach onto your base layer clothing. While this might sound annoying (which it is) it is no worse than being soaked with your own sweat (which is somewhat inevitable).

works, but.....
When wet it adds weight because it holds a lot of water. Sizing runs a little big. 44" chest we got a large maybe we should have gotten a medium. I wish it came in a small for me. My husband uses it for motorcycling and teaching MSF. He likes it because it really keeps you cool. this does get heavy. It holds water for days even when left to dry outside. I do have concerns of it getting moldy especially on long motorcycle trips. It will never be safe to store in a saddlebag when not using. My wife got a different Brand that seems to work much better. Time will tell.

Buyer beware
I've used this type of evaporative cooling vest for years. This is a new company/product but the design/function is the same - in practice, it's a whole other thing. It sucks up a LOT of water, making it super heavy out of the bucket. You can't wring or squeeze the water out, without damaging it (more on that in a minute), so to put it straight on, it's like climbing under a wet weighted blanket, leaving you completely drenched and dripping. Now you're wet, your clothes are wet, your chair is wet, you're leaving a trail of wet wherever you go... and there's not a lot of "evaporative cooling" going on. The reason you're not supposed to wring/squeeze the water out, is that it will cause the gel inside to squeeze out as well. Well, at least that's how it's supposed to go. In the case of this vest, the gel is oozing out with the volumes of water, without any help. It's sticky, slimy, and when it dries it's a little crusty and stiff. Like wallpaper paste. Maybe this one was defective, or maybe that's just how this brand makes their product - either way, buyer beware. It does run large, I could have easily sized down one. It's not adjustable, so what you get is what you have. The quality seemed good, until put into practice, and the zipper quality is fine. It's just a slimy mess when wet.

Total Game Changer
Dollar for dollar , this is one of the best values I’ve come across in regards for what I got for what I spent. First off , The different colors are priced differently. I was able to immediately shave ten bucks off the price by choosing the cheapest color. It makes no difference at all since it’ll never be seen under my riding gear. I paid just a bit over $20 when the other colors were in upwards of $30. The vest arrived in the middle of brutal heatwave , with temps in the high nineties. I soaked the vest in ice water while I put on my other gear and prepped the bike. Once I put the vest on , the comfort was immediate. I rode about 100 miles in temps that never dipped below 96 and at no point in the ride did I ever feel uncomfortably hot. I was cool and comfortable the whole time. No cutting edge tech here. Just a simple accessory that took one of the biggest negatives out of my summer rides. I’ve seen evaporative cooling vests from name brands for $100 or more. Idk , maybe they have some fancy bells and whistles that make them better than this one but I can’t justify spending more when this vest does exactly what I want it to do. Dry it in the sun when you’re done to prevent bad smell/mold. My hot summer rides are now just as comfortable as my autumn rides , and for only twenty something dollars.

Worth the money.
Worked great. Requires a lot of water (gallon at least). You will be wet. I used this today (98 degrees according to the Harley) and no problems. It stayed cool until it was dry (about two hours) then it was a hot. I wet the vest at a convenience store and it went right back to cool. Here again, a bottle of water will not be enough water, it takes at least a gallon to activate the vest and you will be wet (but cool). Feels well made, not cheap. Zipper is nice and large (plastic) and did not hang up or stick. The back comes down off the neck which is ok with me but it does not cool the neck - upper back and below. No interference with my helmet. The front is open to mid-chest allowing some air flow down the front after the vest dries (positive) and the sides are open except for an elastic band (no cooling material on the side) but I did see this as a positive once the vest dries. The vest did not flap in the wind, it stays put and somewhat rigid when wet. After the vest dries it floats around a little but not to the point of a problem. Vest weight is around two lbs dry, water is 8.2 lbs per gallon so the vest starts out heavy and gets lighter as it dries. Size seems right, no bunching or gathering, bottom landed right in my lap as I sat on the bike. Kept my core covered and cool, front and back. Remember, everywhere this touches will be wet, so pants and shirt will be a little more than damp.

Awesome customer service
This product is absolutely amazing. It keeps me cool for hours and very easy to get it cool again. You don’t have to wear those bulky water packs that when they thaw you still have to carry the weight. Anyone looking for a vest to keep cool this is the perfect choice! I had an issue where the bottom fabric of the zipper ripped. Customer service got back to me very quickly and solved my problem right away. I would give 10 stars if I could. Don’t think about it or look for other products. JUST BUY IT!!!

I recommend
I was skeptical first of how will this work... But iam service engineer and was a desk worker befow who lives in AC now I can work under the sun In the summer and iam sensitive to heat.... It really reduced feeling of heat ALOT in summer under 45 degree combined with very large fiahing hat Downside that it will make ur shirt little wet but when u take it off it will dry in sun or AC for 10 - 15 minutes or u can get a spare shirt.... I would be honest it is not like staying in AC but in this temperature under the sun and very high humidity it is a life saver Overall very impressed and I still recommend
