Comfortable, sturdy, light weight.....perfect trekking shoes.

I have worn these boots 6 times so far. None of the activities that I have done were particularly heavy-duty (i.e. Shoveling and moving stone, shoveling and moving dirt, etc.). The boots are fairly firm above the ankle, so they dig into my leg when I'm on an incline. The other disappointing factor is that the stitching by the toes has already started to fray. The material by the toes does not seem like it will last very long, but time will tell. Otherwise, they seem to be fairly water resistant (although I have not walked through any significant amount of water yet). I do like the boots enough to keep them. Hopefully they will last at least a year.

Fit very well. Wore them first day with temps around 35F and frost. Water tight and warm. Will buy another pair to save for next year

The shoes are attractive and look reliable, and the first time I wore these, they seemed OK. The second time wearing them I noticed the front area of my feet... the ball joints between the big and little toes... was sore when I took them off. After the third time wearing them, my feet just hurt... plain and simple. There just isn't enough padding for these to be comfortable.
