This is a kids camera, it allows them to take pretty decent pictures and videos especially outside or in well lighted areas. The controls are not difficult and the ability to download all photos and videos to your computer can allow you to have some fun if you have a video editor.The instruction booklet was minimally acceptable but it did identify all functions and locations, a few things I had to figure out myself so unless you have really smart kids (and they might be smarter than you with this) you might want to familiarize yourself with its operation so you know how to get the pictures out and maybe reset the settings if one of them gets into the settings and messes anything up.NOTE: The fact they included 2 batteries so you should never run out of power when you are out on a trip or something is a real bonus over others.I didn't understand how to use this cute little camera, mind you "For Kids" , how hard could this be, I finally understood what to do, it does help when you read the instruction booklet. So I tried to put the battery in, it would not go in, so I took a closer look at the opening where the battery does go and I noticed a little black notch, I held the notch down with one finger and pushed the battery in, it went in and then I proceeded to turn the camera on, It Worked!!! WoW! I was really excited! then I remembered I needed to get a memory card for it, but it turns out they gave me a memory card (32 Gig) This little gem of a camera takes beautiful, clear pictures...I'm really glad that I bought this!! :)Bottom Line: It is a kids camera, it appears sturdy, it comes with a lanyard and a pouch to help keep it from getting laid down and lost plus it takes really good pictures so 5 Stars for a great deal for something a kid will love if they can get the adults to let them have it.

My son loves his camera. He is 9 years old. It’s a great high quality starter camera for a kid. It provides features of an adult camera, but is small enough to fit in a kid’s pocket and comes with a handy lanyard for field trips and over night excursions. It has an anti-shake feature to ensure that my amateur photographer has a higher probability to take the best resolution pictures. The camera offers auto focus, maximum zoom capabilities, and video recording!!! My son is recording his first vlog series and it’s great! The camera has become a tool for learning and exploration. The bottoms are simple to read and easy to navigate. He doesn’t need much help. I highly recommend this camera as a holiday or birthday gift.

My six-year-old daughter loves this camera and was able to figure out all the modes pretty quickly. It is nice and compact, but with a big enough screen to view her photos. Takes decent photos and videos. I didn’t give it five stars however because a couple months after, receiving it a wide row of faint vertical black lines appeared on the screen. You can still see what you’re looking at and view pictures through it but it’s obnoxious for her to not get a good idea of what the picture looks like because the lines are now across the whole screen. She loves taking pictures so hopefully the screen won’t get any worse. Not sure if this happens to be a fluke with our camera because I hadn’t read about this issue with other reviews I looked at.

Super nice quality, easy to setup and use and a great starter camera for anyone. My son wants to take up photography and wanted a good one to start practicing with. I saw this one on sale and grabbed it. I played around with it, set it all up and even took a few photos to check out the quality and they are just as nice as my pro setup. Great price, nice gift idea, highly recommend.

I felt like I was back in the early 2000s with how this thing navigates! I feel it’s good for tweens, but if you’re looking for great quality this is not the product for you.

Nothing fancy, but will help your kid feel fancy and learn how to take pictures "themselves". It has a nice array of basic settings, and is fairly easy to figure out.

Received as scheduled... made 100 pictures and I am very satisfied.
