Fantastic illustrations
I bought this because I am a fan of Jean Jullien. The illustrations are wonderful, and I love reading it to my baby.

Ok
Would be a lot cuter but the book came dirty and ripped.

Funny and Delightful
Jullien captures the difference between before and after in this board book. With changes shown through the illustrations, they are funny and sometimes surprising. Long hair before turns into short hair after and then long hair again way after. Question marks are used to ask if the egg really came before the chicken. A roller coaster ride shows a change in hair and expressions as father and child take a wild ride. This book is silly and fun and will result in lots of conversation with little ones.

Lovely Children's Book
My daughter is almost 9 weeks old and received this book as a gift. She loves it. The colors and illustration are literally entrancing to her. Last night, she was upset and fussy after her bath - popping her down in front of this and letting her look at the pages calmed her down. I can only imagine she will enjoy it even more as she gets older.

Adorable Concept Book
Before & After is a concept book that illustrates, in the simplest terms, images showing time sequence as well as cause and effect. It's colorful with a focus more on ideas than words, and it includes a few "inside" jokes tucked away for the grown ups.Appropriate for ages 2 to 4.

Perfect for Dyslexic Kid
My kids have dyslexia, and although my 7 year old is doing awesome in 3rd grade math, when I ask him "what even number comes before this number" he doesn't know what I'm asking him. This book is sooooo cute and funny. Which, of course, is the key to making concepts stick. Now, when I read this book first and THEN ask "what even number comes before this number," he gets what I'm asking and knows the answer.
