After using this product daily since receiving it a few weeks ago, it has made brewing water for my loose leaf tea a breeze. It heats the water quickly, the bottom of the kettle doesn't feel hot, and it pours very easily. I like that it is BPA free. After reading a review that expressed concern of the raised circular part on the pad being a "horizontal electrical outlet", I noted the suggestion/warning to unplug the unit when not in use to minimize risk. That said, I have noticed no instances of water going down the side of the kettle after pouring, so I don't worry that by replacing the kettle on the pad, water would come into contact with the surface at all. This is so easy to use! In my opinion, this is a very high quality item at a reasonable price. Very pleased!

Very sleek, attractive design. Will go with any kitchen theme. So nice to have the different temps. for a variety of teas. It really enhances the flavors when the correct temp. is used and with this it does it for you. It is quick and has a nice sounding beep when the water has reached the desired temp. I would purchase this again and also buy it for gifts for any occasion! It would also be handy to take with when staying in a hotel to have hot water for tea, coffee, instant oatmeal, soup and ect. A great feature it is BPA free!!! The customer service and support is excellent. The Best!!!!

Purchased this little bad boy for my coffee press. It takes several minutes to get my gas stove to boil water, so to save time, and "energy," I purchased this water kettle to speed things up, and that it did! Kettle boils water in less than 90 seconds, lower setting even faster. Exactly as expected. I even used the Kettle to boil water faster for boiled eggs.I boiled the water in the Kettle, placed 4 eggs in a pan, poured the boiling water over them and continued to boil the eggs on the stove for an additional 6 minutes for perfectly soft, easily peeled boiled eggs. Saved about 10 minutes of fuel and time! Great bargain!

I had twice purchased what I believe is the same model of kettle, which is manufactured in China and selling under a variety of labels for a range of prices. This kettle was a serious updated model. I think that the changes were both to reduce manufacturing costs that have an energy benefit.Firs, the kettle is a tweak shorter. All are listed as 1.7 L. The older two would hold a bit more. This new one hold 1.7L that's it. It is the rated capacity. The new one seems to be made a bit thinner. It works. It's only noticeable because I had two former ones that were thicker.The kettle warms up more gently. The older ones made a lot of noise immediately at launch. This one takes a bit to make noise. Testing heat with the hand indicates the kettle is getting warmer. It starts making noise when it approaches boil. It's nice in the morning when others are still sleeping.The older models would retain the last setting when shut off or lifted from the heating base. This new model requires reset of temp. The temp setting defaults to boil, so it's not a biggie. But it saves if you don't want to waste electricity when you don't need keep warm.The important thing is that I'm keeping it, as it works.

This Electric Kettle is my first one and I will never go back to heating water on the stove or in the microwave. It is easy to use and heats water quickly. No more K-cups. Pour over coffee tastes better and there no plastic waste. I use the Electric Kettle every day over the last month and it works great.

My other kettle was too quiet and I never knew if I had turned it on. But this kettle lets me know. I like the size and I like the choices of temperature I, also, liked the price.

Have used this for about 3 months. Already the bottom area inside next to the heating element is corroding away. The plating used apparently can't take the heat, flakes off exposing the base metal to corroding. Everything else about it was good. Just wish it was better made to last longer.I have changed this rating because of the fantastic customer service and response the seller did to make things right.
