These audio amplifiers are super for sound enhancement, and very easy to adjust the volume, also.However, even though I ordered more foam bud covers, in x-small size, these aids simply would not stay in place, no matter the size of cover. Any slight movement of my head, and they landed on the carpet. They are far too heavy to stay in place when walking. Regretfully, I cannot use them, although I tried every trick to do so. They just do not fit, so I must return them. They might be better for someone with large ear openings?

These hearing aids kept falling out because, I guess, I am a small person with small ears. They were not suited to my ears and therefore were uncomfortable. The quality of them was so-so. They were louder so I could hear EVERYTHING, including amplifying the noise. but I still couldn't hear all the sounds available to me (birds chirping, women talking with marbles in their mouths, especially on TV, and rustling of leaves) I ended up going to a hearing specialist and buying real hearing aids. My audiologist can program my smartphone to change my situation from a loud concert to a library with a free app. Not hearing properly can lead to dementia and falls. I want to live a full and long life. I am 78 going on to be 100 years old at least. One hundred twenty-two would be nice.

Bought these for my stepdad- Waited to write this review to see how they would work for him over time. Overall very easy to use- he has big “farmer” hands so small delicate items can be a challenge. Adjusting the volume was a big concern- super easy for him, no tools needed - which is great! Makes it so practical for him when on machinery to turn them down or better yet put in their charging case and slip in his pocket. Everything about these are pretty straightforward and consumer friendly. Background noises were loud for him when he first put them in , so there is definitely an adjustment period. But the fact that adjustment of the volume is soooo easy is such a plus!

I like it. It enables my wife to clearly understand and carry on a conversation. She has moderate to severe hearing loss (both ears, worse than -60dB above 4kHz). She refused hearing aids because she cannot operate “anything that has more than one button…” Also, she does not like to take adequate care of “gadgets”… and therefore, does not want to spend hundreds (thousands) of dollars for a medical grade hearing aid.Based on the reviews, I was not sure whether this device would be a good alternative. I am glad I ordered it. I am an engineer and I am impressed by the value this hearing aid offers. Firstly, it definitely enhances hearing to an acceptable degree. I tried it too. My hearing loss is mild to moderate at high frequencies, this device improved my comprehension of speech too. It would be great if it had Bluetooth interface and adjustability through phone app. The charging case has built in battery, can be pre-charged using USB connection. LCD displays charge level of the case. When charged, the case can charge the hearing aids without USB power. Unfortunately, the battery capacities of the case or the hearing aids are not specified. Overall design is very functional and aesthetic.

I am writing this to help others like myself who suffer hearing loss. I have tried several behind the ear and in the ear devices and have given up on finding a cheap device on Amazon. I rated these as a five even though I returned them. I found these to be well constructed and they worked pretty much as advertised with good control over the volume.My hearing was tested by an otolaryngologist and I have high frequency hearing loss. The first thing I noticed on the Instruction Booklet provided with these was that thy are listed as hearing amplifiers, although the term "hearing aid" is referred to in some places in the instructions. An amplifier boosts sound levels at all frequencies. When I used them in my Sunroom, I could hear my tv quite well but I also heard my wife's tv equally as well in the next room. They are advertised as "noise cancelling" but I could not verify whether or not they were. Everything was way too loud, even at the lowest volume setting and with my tv volume at a lower level.I have given up my search for a cheap hearing aid on Amazon. If I do decide on a more expensive one tailored to my hearing needs, I will contact my otolaryngologist again and ask for a recommendation for a place that can customize a device that fits my hearing loss.
