Arrived Cracked - Modified Based on User Comments
This resin decoration design is nice, but delicate. The entire thing is roto-cast (made of thin brittle resin), which is why so many people have mentioned that it shatters during shipping.Amazingly my purchase arrived whole, but buzzed when I tapped it with my knuckles. I found a large hairline crack at the base, between the towers. Since I was planning to modify this thing anyway, I made the crack repair part of the modification process. The resin is receptive to super glue, and the crack was easily repaired in seconds. The application of small trees/greenery to this item was very poor. Excessive glue was used, and the trunk pegs were far too long, and gave the plants a cheap look. I used a heat gun (second lowest setting) to warm the low temp hot glue and remove the trees. I cut the tree pegs shorter, reheated the low temp glue (it leveled out), and put the trees back. The glue is VERY low temp, so it takes a while to firm up after being warmed.I read many reviews saying that this outcropping is a "death trap" with sharp material inside. The only sharp areas are found around the edges of every opening. Also, the top of each outcropping is closed (air trap) and the base is a large solid oval (low/no visibility).Using a fiberglass cutoff wheel (dremel and respirator required to avoid bad resin fumes) I cut away an eye-shaped section of wall below the lowest ledge, to provide visibility into the base. I left the main base edge/ring intact for stability (L cross section left below the added hole to retain what little strength the material has, and give the aquarium substrate something to grab.)I extended the uppermost tower holes too, cutting through the capped areas at the top of each tower to avoid any air or fish traps. I rinsed the whole thing with water to remove fine dust, and used 300 grit wet sandpaper to smooth every opening (new and old), and rinsed the piece several times. Fin!The piece looks like driftwood now, but it's great and safe... worth the money if you have the time to modify it.

fresh out of Avatar.
Anybody remembers the leg tights and stalagmites? The eighth grade Science class that's what they look like these things look like some kind of canyons and can Caverns out of the Avatar movie. Who is that guy game something ordered the best art director that your butt was all done on a Mac. Anyway, this thing's cool. It's actually injected molded plastic. You got to love them resins from the mountains of Mongolia. I'm sure they're real real safe. Glad I'm not a fish. Oh, well, Pete swimming around in the Fukushima Bay. Anyway, they look cool man by them. Do they actually spray paint in any color you want but they do come painted. They're neat and it depending on which way you turn them. One side has some Greenery plant life attached to it. Really nice. Not your typical Dollar Store plastic flowers. And the other side is all right near where are the two pictures here. One is the one for the review on the last picture in the tank. There is my other tank with the taller one that's available on the page that you'll see of the one I'm reviewing. The tall one's really cool and it's either with even less money the tall ones about 12 in height good luck a really cool. They even come packed and Chinese newspaper. I read it. I had to buy translator for an Amazon. Snow with a little bit

Death trap
Thought it looked great in my tank, absolutely loved it. Turns out the inside is a death trap for any fish larger than a neon. The plastic inside is gnarled and sharp and covers the entirety of the interior. My bristlenosed plecostomus got stuck in the top spire because he was pinned under a sharp plastic outcrop. I had to break it open to get him out. Do not buy if you have a larger or inquisitive fish.

Good for price
Edges are indeed a little rough, if you have smaller fish a dremel will be your friend before putting it into your tank. Personally I have bigger fish so I didn’t bother. The plants are cheap looking but it doesn’t look bad in the tank. You can remove the plants if you’re even slightly crafty and find ones you like to glue into their place. Good for the money considering anything for fish tanks is out of this world. 3 stars only because of the rough edges and chinsy plants. Size is accurate

Turtle tank
Heavy enough that Myrtle, the red eared slider, can’t tip it over, but he can move it and not get stuck.

Perfect size for our huge tank
We bought this for our huge tank, and it looks great and our little fish love to use it to hide from our big mean fish.

Very detailed
It looks amazing and you can see the detail. Very good quality. Using it in my bearded dragons vivarium. Being hollow and plastic it's not heavy but sturdy when she climbs on it. Easy to clean.
